Big O: Hearing Peyton Manning to Dolphins, Reggie Wayne might follow

I'd much rather bring in Manning with Garcon than Wayne. I think that both of those guys would take cheaper contracts to play together (Manning already said he'd play for an incentive laden deal) and imagine that deep threat on the other side of Marshall with Bess in the slot and Manning slingin the rock... Wow. If Clay could develop into a good seam threat a la Aaron Hernandez we would be a top 2-3 passing game in the league.

Garcon would definitely provided that deep strike ability, that is of course assuming manning can still get the ball there. Either-way I'm keeping my enthusiasm in check as a dolphins fan we know all to well how disappointing results can be, everything from : Not acquiring Manning or acquiring a Manning that makes Penningtons arms look like Marinos are unfortunate realities for us. Although i must say the smell of things of late does seem different. Time will tell

The Manning debate is going to rest in the hands of the team doctors who evaluate him. They can work him out all they want, the final decision is going to be based on what the team doctors tell Ross and Ireland. I just hope they get this one right, unlike they did with the whole Brees disaster.

I don't want the Dolphins medical staff anywhere near this decision making process. It was our medical staff that f$%^ed up the breese situation. They gave the OK to culpepper too.

If we sign Manning & it does turn into a Culpepper type scenario next year's draft will potentially have four first round QBs (Matt Barkley, Tyler Bray [Jr], Landry Jones, & Tyler Wilson). This isn't a make or break season for us, we're still young all around but capable of competing now.

While I understand your point I think you are confusing racism with stereotyping. Both are not good things to basis your decision making on there is an extreme difference between the intent behind them. It is a stereotype that black people are faster than white people FOR the most part. Of course this is not true 100% of the time but there is a reason stereotypes develop. People witness something happening enough times and ear about it enough. Is the title of the movie White Men Can't Jump a racist title or a stereotype. I think this is hypersensitivity.
