I did and I don't hear what you hear. I heard it will be a "collective decision making process", they "will sit down and agree". He said "ultimately the coach will decide where he plays" the "coach will make strong suggestions as to where he wants to go and I'll be right there behind him".

Did you maybe take it out of context? Is it possible they meant players that they bring in from FA or the draft as in as starters and not necessarily watching practice and dictating who starts over who? I'm just asking because I didn't hear the interview.

It was not taken out of context. I heard the interview too and that is exactly what he said. I'm just hoping Ireland didn't really hear the question correctly or he was too hasty with his answer. But if what he said is true, then we are right back where we started.
