So right on Belichik after a loss - he's the sorest loser I've ever seen. The reporters are afraid to ask him anything - you see when they lost to Carolina? Eerie silence in the room. And he had the nerve to complain about the non-call on Keuchly. He's such a douche. I hope he's remembered for choking after an 18-0 season - and losing the SB to a 10-6 wild card team. I don't care how many games he wins - that is the blemish of all blemishes IMO.I share the same concern. I'm hoping we can start out fast, but the trick is maintaining that momentum and sealing it shut in the end. When the Patriots take the field this Sunday, there are no real superstars on that team besides Tom Brady; they are still talented and well coached, and that makes them dangerous every Sunday. Our Fins will have to play a complete game. I like our chances, we're at home in December, and our offense is playing it's best football right now.
It will come down to our coaches bringing their "A" game. Instead of our coaches responding on the fly to the Patriots ever-changing schemes, I'm hoping we flip the script, and make the Patriots coaches adjust to our schemes. Keeping them off-balance the entire game.
You know what I love to see, it ranks up there with beating the Jets. I love watching Belichick respond to the media after a loss, the kind of loss that he has no answers for. He is such a sarcastic son of a *****. Here's to watching another episode of that after this Sunday :brewskis:
Exactly. And we tend to go a bit conservative when we have a lead late. The 2002 (or was it 2003?) game (where Ricky Williams had like 200 yards on 20 carries) - last game of the year - where we dominated for 57 minutes, then choked up a TD and two FGs in the final 3 minutes to lose the division and a PO bid still sticks in my craw...Not even a 30 point lead at the half is safe against Tom Brady. We MUST maintain an attacking approach all game long or we will lose...
I don't trust our run defense.
I am sure that will be the reason you lose if you lose![]()
Thats the game right there.
The D-line needs to make a statement.

Hey Junc, I gotta bust ya balls a little. How about that victory against the Steelers; and what do you know, it happen the following week after beating your Jets? You can no longer say, beating the Jets is our "Super Bowl." And based on that theory, could it be a changing of the guard where your team is no longer relevant to us, and having no effect on the ensuing games after playing Jets? I would say so. What do you think![]()
I thought that was a bad call as the back no back no calls were in your favor on Pitt's last real drive but NE still would have had a minute to score and they would have.
Thats the game right there.
