Biggest conern about the NE game

I am still sorta sour about the last time we played them. We blew a 14 or 17? point lead. we need to have a kill mentality and hopefully we dont let up off the gas. I want to bury those fools

My concern is that (with all our injuries etc.) our offense = Charles Clay.

If the Pats neutralise Clay, we'll have a hell of a job matching them for points scored.

I just hope the defense learns to cover a screen and the tight end in a hurry.

Im worried about the dink and dunk offense of NE. Seems like the RB screen passes and check downs have killed us. So Shane Vereen will be a nice fantasy start against us. And im worried about our inability to finish game

oh and a run game would be nice

We have the home field. We are playing well. Gronk is out. But the matchup of our ability to finish and NE being so tough to put down - even when they look like you have them - has me concerned. The lateral play at the end of the game yesterday is just a prime example of how hard we make it when we win (or lose the close ones). Cleveland took their foot off the gas with a 12 point lead and got burned for two TDs in the last 1:03 of the game. NE has done this to teams all year. It's this part of the matchup - which has nothing to do with X's and O's and more to do with mental framework of these teams - that I'm worried about. I believe if we win, we will win out and make the playoffs as the Ravens are going to lose 1 of their last 3. I guess what I'm saying is as fine a job as Philbin is doing right now, he's not coaching this team as "complete" as Belicheat does. So what's they key to putting these guys down and keeping them down for 60 minutes?

I think Miami can beat the Patriots on the field, but my biggest concern are the Refs, as proven by the last meeting these two team had. That was a total take over by the refs, and even though the fans for the Patriots were the 12 man, it was the 13th man in zebra suits that finished the dolphins off.

just stop it, NE beat you on the field.

first win post jets since 2006.

You guys are growing into a team I feared you could become, if the QB would get his act together you could be really dangerous.

I can't tell if you're being humble or sarcastic. . D@mn typed messages. :)

Anyway, no matter what other's say about you on this board Junc, and despite being a Jets fan (almost threw up in mouth), you're "almost" alright in my book.

That we lose and its a repeat of every year we end up 7-9 and miss the playoffs. You get some slight hope at the end of the season, only to lose a few tough games and miss out because you lost games you should've won earlier in the year (0-8 Tampa...4th string QB Buffalo...).

Of course, the people here who always say "these are early games, its not the end of the world" forget that it comes back to bite you hard. Winning those two, we could've been playing for the AFC EAST crown.

My biggest concern is that we will actually be winning by less than 20 at halftime because we all know how NE plays in the second half.

That was not sarcastic.

Game is being played in Miami. I think we might get a fairly officiated game. It only seems to be at Foxboro that the calls are bought and paid for. Can't let those Patriots fans go home disappointed.

The Rapeberger play in the end zone a few years ago doesn't ring any bells?

how come no one is talking about the 2 plays that should have been called PI on the dolphins on Pitt's last real drive? bad calls happen, there's no conspiracy against Miami and they had a great chance to win that Pitt game a few years ago and failed. They didn't lose it b/c of that bad call.
