Don't know about yesteryear but the elite trash talker currently on the team is #28 Bobby McCain. If trash talking was an Olympic event, Bobby would be the Jesse Owens/Carl Lewis/Usain Bolt gold medallist of this era. One of the reasons Coach Adam Gase loved Bobby was because of the verbal sh*t that he allegedly gave Jarvis Landry at every practice. Gase thought that it helped to mentally toughen Jarvis.

I am going with Cox. He basically felt if by the time the game was over, if opponants and their fans did not want him to take a bat swing to the face...He was just not doing his job right.
