Where do you guys come up with this crap?

He was a controversial player and was pretty violent, go figure a football player playing a violent game being violent. Also one of the many in the league which took roids.

How you go from a roid rager to being labled a racist can only happen on forums like these. :rolleyes:

but during the trial he made statements to the media many regarded as being racially insensitive

Romanowski, released by the Raiders last March after failing a physical, has a long history of scraps with opponents and others. One of his more well-publicized incidents came in December 1997, when he spit in the face of San Francisco 49ers receiver J.J. Stokes while playing for the Denver Broncos in a nationally televised game.
Romanowski was fined $7,500 by the NFL -- one of several fines for his behavior during his career.

The magazine reported that Romanowski, already under indictment on charges of fraudulently obtaining a diet drug, may have distributed drugs to teammates and suggested that a white teammate take the drug as the only way to compete with black players.

The unidentified player told SI that Romanowski used the "N-word."

Sports Illustrated spokesman Joe Assad said the magazine had no reason to question its account. "We stand by our story, we're confident in our reporting and our sources," Assad said Wednesday.

I heard he was open with the 'N' word regarding teammates.
 
He was crazy & he was on 'roids, but i've never heard anything about him being a racist. If he is, that's just another reason to consider him a complete a hole. He was a damn good LB though.
 
I hate his guy more than any other football player I can think of. He was a cheater, a dirty player, and pretty much everything I look down on in regards to sportsmanship. He was and will always be a goon and cheater to me. He even ended a teammate's career in Oakland(I think it ended anyways), when he broke his eye socket with a cheap punch.
 
The guy is an A Hole.

Good LB though, but an A Hole nevertheless.

When he spit on JJ Stokes in '97 I read that he also called him the N word. It wouldn't suprise me. His Lawyer works in the the same building in downtown SF as I do. I've seen him in the lobby a few times and he just looks like an A-hole.
