Yeah, as much as I hate him for his abject failure here, he's a good DC. Definitely an upgrade from George Edwards. Your D should be pretty solid this year.

What the contract is not bad at all.And yes there is a Reggie White comparison here.

The High Profile FA Chose the small market team and the rest if history. That is the only reason this signing could be the Reggie White Signing for the Bills.

Look Mark Anderson now comes in for a visit.

This was a great signing and what were the Bills going to do they went and got the Best Defensive FA in the class, not to mention would have been the TOP FA overall if Manning did not get cut.

There is alot of metics that show he has lived up to his draft location. Second best sacker in terms of Sacks be game over the past 5 years only to Ware.

And with 40M in cap space it does not even come close to hurting the team now or in the future with the way the contract is structured and the new TV money that will raise the cap.

Amazing how anyone can spin a players stats. Jason Taylor was a better player and Mario Williams does not deserve that kind of money. He wasn't even the top sack leader last year and he played on a good team.

It just throws everything out of wack, so then Peyton Manning has to top Mario Williams, its insane.

As hard as it is for me to say this.........

I am on your side on this one. This is something the "talking heads" should not even touch. I mean yes say the Fins are having a bad offseason (if you think they are) and why. But stop the piling on. You think they would ever do this to their Golden Teams "Steelers, Pats, Packers, Cowboys"

Heck more has come out MANY times about the Cowboys, and well they face non of this media backlash that you all are facing right now.

I have my thoughts on your offseason and do not think is has gone so well this year, not even close to Plan IMO but to start piling on an organization is sensless and should not happen by the "professional" sports Media.

There now that I said that, to realign the planets. GO Bills and I hope you all finish 2nd in the AFCE of course behind US

I hear ya, and I hate to sound all "tin foil hat", but I feel like Parcells is pulling some of these strings.

Plus I think the media in general doesn't enjoy being kept in the dark like Ireland does...this is something Belichek does but they leave him alone for the most part because they win, if they were losing they'd pile on him too

Remember what the media did to Belichek when they cut Lawyer Malloy?

Of course he is not going to be in the all time leader yet. He is still young.

Now as to the comment about last year. He did not lead or was tops in the league in sacks last year but he had 5 sacks in 1st five games before missing the next 11 due to a torn peck.

Watch him excel back into a 4-3 and as a LDE his natural college position.

I take Mario Williams against 95% of the NFL RTs any Sunday.

You don't think the Cowboys have been bashed in recent years? The bottom line is if you fail you get bshed more than if you succeed. teams that succeed get the benefit of the doubt(see NE where they can never make a bad move).
