Bill's fans whining about the penalties last night

That stadium is going to be dead empty for their remaining home games. Just like every year.

They can gripe over the PI call, that was questionable, but the safety was not. Either way, they had their opportunity after those 2 calls and went 3 and out both times (if I remember correctly). It's about time we got some calls go pur way, and I do not think they cost the Bills the game.

They got robbed on the PI, and the safety call was questionable (or rather, it was the right call that often wouldn't be made). I can understand the frustration as we're usually on the other end. There are always questionable calls in a game. It's ok for fans to be upset about them, but it was obvious that Bills players were a little too consumed by those calls. Teams have to have the resilience to fight back even if it feels like the zebras are against you.

PI call late we got away with most likely but it wasn't super egregious. I thought it made up for the arm bar on the Wallace deep ball though.

The intentional grounding was a blatantly obvious call. I was yelling at the TV, obvious grounding. It doesn't matter if the receiver ran the wrong route or what. When there is literally nobody within fifteen yards of the ball's landing spot, and the QB is in the pocket, that's grounding.

The safety wasn't questionable per the rules of the game. The PI was, but so was not calling Hogan for the push off. They can only blame the refs so much. The refs didn't make Orton their starting QB.

Both those calls were questionable to me (PI and intentional Grounding/safety)...even the Landry's TD seemed like his knee was down before the ball crossed. You win some and lose some - happy to be on the winning side for once!

I've been seeing some Bills' fans claim that D Thomas was holding Williams "95%" of the time, and Williams should've had 7 sacks last night. One person said that without the refs the Dolphins only score 6 points

I agreed with the intentional grounding call...was screaming at the TV...where's the intentional grounding. The PI call was bad.

But you know what...for years those same exact calls have gone against us...it's about time we start getting some of those calls.

About the PI call. I have a picture on my phone (not going to spend my time getting it here) but the ball is 5 yards away and contact is made. In full speed that is very small margin. I think it was a tough call on the Bills and a bad time, but if you are not going to call that it opens a huge box of worms. Imagine if Ds could jump on guys like that all the time? If that call ends up in the consistently not called category then the passing game in the NFL changes significantly, plus where do you draw the line? It was PI according to the current rules and you have to call it. Makes me cringe a little but that is what it is.

that safety immediately followed by Landry's fumble was a blessing in disguise that should have either netted them 1 or 6 points total in the black. And it doesn't matter which receiver might have been breaking towards the ball if he didn't.. Orton threw that pass from in between the hash marks.. it was a no brainer. The PI was questionable but still and all, compared to all the penalties we've deserved not called, including all the holds on Wake, it wasn't even partial payback.

Right, I edited my post to reflect that it's the right call, but one that I don't think would be made often. We would be so so very whiny if it was the other way around, so I'm not going to slam Bills fans. We still played better and deserved to win. But I can understand the frustration.
