Agreed. I’m torn. I really want TA to play through it. That said, if he risks worsening the injury by playing, is it really worth it for one game? We need him all season. He might be the most important piece to our O.

People laugh off toe injuries, but they are serious as they take an extremely long time to heal. Hard to get leverage if your toe is in pain. It sounds to me like this will be an ongoing issue throughout the season, as he's just not able to give it time to heal. Also, if he plays Sunday, the chances are probably not great that he'll be able to suit up again on Thursday night. I guess it's just how strong his pain tolerance is...

That's good news. Two rookie CBs and a backup safety. Hopefully that will cause some miscommunication issues. Phillips missing out on a revenge game should be good too. They still have lots of scary pieces.

Unless the line can prevent the leagues second best pass rush (with almost no blitzing) this doesn’t matter as much as you want to hope.

They’ll rush 4 all game and if they win…which they’ve done so far, seven people will be back in coverages playing that two deep coverage Tua struggles with.
