Bills Might Want to Grind the Fish?

It seems Stevie Johnson is out for Buf as well. Robert Woods has been good but losing your top wr doesn't help.

miami has no reason to have a trap game. a division rival definitely isn't the makings of a trap game. miami has already lost to buffalo this year, so if this is a "trap game", then the dolphins players, are the dumbest people on earth, if they look past buffalo, and cause this to be a "trap game".

in other words, this is not a trap game. stop using that term. Miami has not been good enough, the past 13 years, to ever have a trap game.

Fred jackson is an old man. good RB, old man. He did not practice today. That hurts if he doesnt play or play significantly. He is half of their screen passes and draws. Thats how they disguise one from the other.

The difference to me in this game from the last one.....we are scoring TD's on long drives putting up 24 or more points the last two games where one was in bad weather. So we became a better football team since we last met. OL is not as much a problem because even if RT gets sacked, he comes back with big plays.

The Bills however are searching for answers. That comes from their HC, not me.

We are studying the last game bigtime to gameplan the rookie. Weather wont matter much IMO. It may end up sloppy, but it could be sloppy for both sides but we run a spread offense and we will not be deterred from running it. Its what we do. Reshard Matthews has a big game along with the others. We have a 4-5 man receiving nightmare. Bill Belichick just learned this.

The only way we lose this game to me is if we turn the ball over alot.

Spiller is a match up nitemare for MIAMI. If he makes a living on the edge (counters, sweeps, tosses and screens), MIA will struggle to win this game. Sadly, the one responsible for this assignment is Wheeler.

Might be seeing more Jenkins then. I think he did a hell of a job vs Vareen in obvious passing downs and could replicate some of that with Spiller. I get Spiller is mor explosive, but it's a better matchup at least.

any thoughts on EJ manuel? i havent paid any attention on him but he shifts out of the pocket. then again he went to FSU so he's not use to the weather

I think he'll be watching the game.

Quoting Mike Sherman speaking on the bills game.

"This is an opportunity for us to go out there and make some noise"

Bill's running game is really what worries me, especially if its icy rain or snowing. Spiller and Jackson are good cutback runners, and bad weather gives them the advantage. Our guys need to play contain, stay home, and wrap up.

I also hope that Coyle emphasizes the importance of defending the SCREEN PASS this week.

Buffalo's passing attack is in the cellar, as is their standings in the AFC East.

However, Buffalo has a rushing attack that is #4 in the league. Miami's defense against the run ranks as a mediocre #22.

Add to this mix Miami's lack of depth in the secondary, Buffalo's "nothing to lose" situation, and home field advantage for Buffalo going into Christmas week...and you have all the ear-marks of a trap game for the Dolphins.

I hope the Dolphins blow them up with a lopsided score, but the Fins have only pulled that off one time this year...against the Jets...many weeks ago.

I have yet to find any defibrillators down here in Ecuador...so I will smoke less this week and hope my heart holds up against another possible close game.

We did a decent job on D the last time around. We kept them under 100 yards combined rushing, kept Lewis in check. In that game it was definitely our O who peed on us. I don't expect it this time around. We are a much different team compared to October.
