Blake Bortles UCF QB

No question. Bortles is the goods.

I would try to package Tannebust and the 19th pick to move up to the top and draft Bortles.

Here is a post you made on 12-27 lol

No TANNEHILL???? WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This new system of pro bowl selecting is total BS!

Here we have a kid in just his SECOND YEAR who is about to throw for 4000 yards with NO OL, NO Running game at all, and a complete moron for an OC. Unreal. This kid goes out every week and outplays the opposing QB, no matter who it is, and yet he gets no respect from the media.... NONE. They all love Andrew Luck who Tannehill has outplayed 2 years in a row. I bet Tom Brady made the pro bowl. That guys has had a mediocre offense all year in New England. If not for the refs, they might not have made the playoffs even.

I dont know what this kid is going to have to do to get respect in the national spotlight, but whatever it is he will do it eventually. Just wait till we get rid of Ireland and we can get this kid some WEAPONS. Once we fix the OL and get him some receivers that can catch we will win the SB on the strength of this kid's arm. We will probably get to the SB and he will have to lead a comeback drive to win it for us thanks to our defense giving up 17 points but the media will give them all of the credit instead.

and the week before

Im so glad Ireland did not listen to all of his detractors who fly airplanes with FIRELAND banners that wanted him to trade the whole draft to get RG3-10.

If we can get this Tannehill kid to play at least half of the games in every season like he did on Sunday vs. the Pats, and 6 of the other 8 games like an average QB but, dosent turn the ball over, we are going to win double digit games for a lot of seasons in a row.

The PHINS WILL BE BACK!!!!!!! An AFC power once again...... the way it should be.

Yeah, he's got many similarities to Andrew Luck. Like a less polished Andrew Luck. Bigger than Luck and can look erratic at times. He's the antithesis of Ryan Tannehill in that Bortles can have several empty possessions in which you question his accuracy and whether he can vary a pass to fit the requirements of the play, but then you look at the scoreboard and it contains a ton of points for his side.

Very impressive that UCF altered its offense so dramatically for tonight's game. They never run that much read option. Apparently they understood the frailties and laziness of Big 12 defenses in general, and knew that Baylor not only wouldn't be prepared for that type of thing but that they likely wouldn't pose much threat to battering Bortles when he kept the ball.

I still don't understand how Louisville can be preseason Top 10, lose only one time, and narrowly to a team the caliber of UCF, and be third nationally in yards allowed per play, yet be relegated to the Russell Athletic Bowl against the 3-loss flawed Canes. It made for an easy bet but it really screwed up the bowl slotting. Louisville and Bridgewater should have been allowed to take on another top ranked heavyweight, like last year's upset of Florida.

thats how the BCS worked..now UCF wont get a shot at the playoffs ever again because they arent in a power5 conference...

After the Patriots game you went made a thread about us finding our franchise QB, now he is a bust? :bob dole:

Here is a post you made on 12-27 lol

Broccoli rob is firing on all cylinders today - he's a broccoli rabe or broccolini today. Good pickup.
Has anyone else noted that Rob's avatar although masked to maintain his confidentiality resembles a prominent former pre-med student seen around College Station TX?

theres no reason to think a biology major thats extremely athletic and a first round draft pick won't continue to improve in his third year. with an improved offensive line..better trade him before the upcoming draft :bobdole:

I'm a UCF alum so it's exciting to see people talking about the program and the players. I wouldn't mind snagging Storm Johnson

Rob you are clearly a value seeker and like Bob Dole you may have taken too much viagra. Like they say on the advertisement, see your doctor if you sustain an erection for over 4 hours.

Sorry Awsi - They are both 6'4" Bortles weighs 230 Lbs, Luck weighs 239 lbs. (I was very surprised by your comment so I checked it out - Luck has a smaller shaped head but he is deceptively big. At Stanford he apparently got a lot of ribbing that his butt was bigger than the O-linemen).

a name perfect for a football player....or a Power Ranger.

I wouldn't mind snagging Bortles' woman

...god it must be nice to be a great college QB :(

You wouldn't mind snagging her, but can she cook and challenge your mind? I'm sure that Blake kicks her out of bed when she farts.

If we don't get the QB some protection, we will be cycling through QBs every few years. Get Tannehill some protection and see what he can do.

He was horrible last night. I'll stick w Tannehill
