So many folks around here act like losing Armstead is no big deal. I dont think many remember what its like to not have an anchor at LT covering warts on that side of the line.

If Daniels gets hurt again, were really in trouble, you can't expect Savaiinaea to come in and be an anchor in his rookie year. Our oline is built on duct tape, bubble gum and a good deal of delusion in the hope that multiple guys take a big step in development over night. Its very likley that one of Jackson or Daniels goes down again and then the oline is a disaster. It might even be a disaster from the onset, its possible Jackson has reverted back to his lazy, out of shape habits, its possible Paul isn't much better than we saw last year and its also possible Savaiinaea will take time to develop.

That's a **** load of "ifs" when it comes to our oline being decent.

If Paul and Cam Smith can step up and play to their draft potentials, everything you’re saying goes out the window and we could have a really good season. That’s two “ifs”. Not a sh1tload. But you and your misery-loves-company agenda have to come crap on this board. We get it. Ad nauseam. You must be tired of your own schtick by now, it’s so old. Go be the Bucs fan you wanna be and leave us alone. Seriously.

We’ve done nothing to change it from an offensive skill side and I doubt the oline additions and overall unit will impose its will on teams to where I can’t.

Which is why an inline TE would’ve been a top priority for me in the draft. One that can block and catch up the seams or in the flats/underneath.

That would bring so much more diversity to this offense. Maybe the kid Conyers can be that. Hill is not that.

Also, maybe OG3 can come in with Achane or Wright on true 2 back sets and we can creat confusion for the defense that way.

What happens if one of our starting 5 Olinemen go down?

And do you know how foolish this place would look to outsiders who visit here if the realists left? All you guys predicting 12 win seasons and ****, worshiping always injured Tua, praising Grier for building the thinnest roster in the NFL.

Who ****ing care how we look to outsiders?!?!? WTF does that even mean? What outsiders would waste their time on an opposing fans’ message board? If they would waste said time, they would have to be utter losers. So who cares, besides you?

It appears Mike McDaniel is gearing up for something huge. What that is, is anyone's guess. But the signing of James Dainels and the drafting of Savaiinaea and Gordon, as well as bringing in a great blocking TE and a true #3 WR; look to be spearheading an effort to block the snot out of defenses. If Miami is successful this offense will become a top unit once again, because it will have become truly balanced. Capable of beating opponents with either the passing and/or running game. The only issues will be injuries and if Patrick Paul actually proves, to be, a worthy starting caliber LT.

Targeting Jonnu and Achane a combined 198 times underneath wasn't countering defenses geared to take away the deep pass? That's 34% of targets. Their combined 166 catches were 40% of the team's completed passes.

Not necessarily. Two points: not sure the team is done adding players there. Let’s see where we are in August before we make that assessment. If we get enough pressure from our front 7 our secondsry can be average and we’ll be fine.

As the article points out, Tua played all 17 games in 2023. I thought the writer fairly listed Miami's offensive line as a concern. Specifically, can Paul step into the void left by Armstead and hold his own? I believe he will.

I also think the Dolphins will be in the top 10 offensively. The biggest issue last season, besides Tua missing six games, was the short-yardage offense. Miami's wide receiver depth also should be better. As always, Tua’s health is paramount to any success on offense.

We’ll see. If Daniel’s comes back from his Achilles and is ready to start with no setbacks. If Patrick paul improves and can hold down LT spot. If Tua can stay healthy, a top 10 offense isn’t out of the question assuming that our upgrades in the middle of the oline, and at blocking TE and perhaps with Ollie Gordon, we may have solved our short yardage issues from last year and should be able to pick up 3 yards and a cloud of dust between the tackles which is what we were lacking last season. That would also help us along with an upgraded more stout front 7 against good teams and in cold weather.
Weather.

I foresee Waddle becoming WR 1 this year. The offense will be better for it too…

When you have a QB who can only play 9 or 10 games a year that is where you get ranked
I have no problem with it and don’t think it’s lazy at all
