Bleacher Report: why mike Wallace will have a big game Monday night

It's not about getting comfy with T-hill or a better understanding of the offense. The kid can't catch. He doesn't have the hands to be a true WR. He never catches the the ball his hands. Not trying to be a prick, it's just fact watching his game. And so for me then, any contract he recieves in that ballpark is a complete waste.

Believe you me, I understand what your sayin. My sofa arm has been pounded to death because of Wallace.

My view on all things football are more long term and not based on 8 games I guess. You have to improve over time. He has in my mind. Once he learns to sit in the hole and read T-hill better, his catching will get better too. But he was brought in for the long ball and we havent seen nearly enough of that to get stoked yet and I believe Sherman is to blame for that and also the OL from sacks.

you cant go long if your Qb is on his azz no? Football is the ultimate team sport.

LOL I hear ya there. I just think it's a fundamental skills issue that he can't extend his arms from his body and catch the football with his hands. So then we are unfortunately pigeon-holed to using him on screens, quick slants and long balls that he can cradle into his body. Unfotrunately, two out of those three require production from the o-line so we've yet to see what can be made of Wallace. But, I still hate that we paid #1 WR money to someone with T-rex arms and little girl hands.

He was pretty darn good vs. Cincy. you have to admit it.

No doubt. But watch him "catch" Monday night, though. Regardless of production, he literally never catches the ball with his hands like a true wide out should be able to. He always has to hug the stupid thing. Haha.

i assume Revis will be on Wallace and Tannehill probably will not have much time with Clabo back in the line up so I'm running the ball with Miller who's getting better each week.. Maybe Revis starts playing tight to stop the run and Wallace slips by him later in the game for a big play or two.

Like Reggie Bush in a fins uniform, we still dont use this guy right. We dont get him into space, rarely throw deep, dont run now screens and rarely slants. They use like like hes brian hartline.

So , we took a receiver in free agency, paid him 60 mil over 5 years and the guy is not a real receiver? Is that right?

The thing is, Wallace can't catch. Literally. He never extends his hands out for a catch. He owns the last name Baskett, more than Hank does. He's not a true receiver and by instinct never will be. He is Ginn Jr with guts, but no hands. Just another horrible Ireland acquisition.

Would you say that he's one of the leaders, each season, in terms of drops or drop percentage?

Or is this just a broad opinion/statement?

It's us. Marshall does just fine on any team not us. Wallace did well on Pitt. Our bad OC's are a huge part of the problem. Bring in stinkin Mike Martz for the rest of the year...see what happens...lol! Only half joking
