Watching the 2nd half almost gave me a damn ulcer. I'm a pretty calm guy, but I was close to snapping and my girlfriend kept telling me to turn it off before I broke something. To be honest I probably should have listened, but for some reason I'm a damn sadomasochist and had to watch it to the bitter end. I've watched every game since I became a phins fan in 07 (which is rare for someone who lives in Canada) and I don`t think I can recall any two quarters of Dolphins football that I found more frustrating since the Cameron days, not even the playoff blow out to Baltimore in 08. I certainly don`t pretend to be the most knowledgeable fan in the world, I tend to trust the decision making of the coaches since I know that half the time I don`t know what I`m talking about, but all I could think in the second half was why isn`t Sherman changing up the play calling? OP you`re completely right, where were the screens to Wallace? How do have that kind of talent on your team and not call more plays specifically designed to get the ball in his hands in space? When it was clear that the oline couldn't protect Tannehill, why not call more roll outs? That was an absolute pathetic performance in the 2nd half and it was only rivaled by the pathetic lack of adjustments our coaching staff made. I still believe in Tannehill to be honest, I think many people are over reacting when it comes to him. Yes he has more work to do, but he has all the talent in the world, but I think I've lost complete faith in Philbin. What made it worst is that I had a sports select which payed out 171$ and I had every game right, minus the phins game. I never bet on the dolphins either, my step dad told me to never bet with my heart and I normally follow that rule, but I really thought we were going to come out today and shock the pats. I was right, we did, we just couldn't sustain it for 4 quarters.
e: also **** the refs, I think they made me lose even more of my already thinning hair today, the bastards. Vernon was clearly attempting to bring in that fumble (the logic that awful call was premised on, was that he would of preferred to slap it down the field then recover it).
