Blow. It. Up

Didn't say that. Just asked what good coach or GM would come here? We have had 7 head coaches since the 2004 season, not exactly screaming stability to potential candidates. Why come here if you got other oppurtunities on the table? What makes the Dolphins special?

What did Jerry Glanville say? NFL stands for? not for long! Win or get out

Mike Wallace is about as dependable as the weather, he sucks and was a TOTAL WASTE of a signing, his drop on the 3 yard line that lead to the long field goal miss by Sturgis was the turning point of the game. What a colossal waste of money. The best free agent signing we made (Gibson) is now done for the season. I am already sick of watching passes go off Wallace's hands and shoulder pads, we should ask for a refund. Ireland is an awful talent evaluator.

What good coach or GM will want to come to Miami? Knowing that they will likely be fired within two seasons.

probably a 52 year old that has never been a HC at any level and a former ball boy turned kicker turned first-time GM. just a guess.

Did somebody really say the Dolphins did enough to win?

They did. Look at the First downs, TIME OF POSSESSION and yardage. Miami had it all right there....then the ONLINE couldn't block, Gibson hurt and refs screwed us over several times.

Watching the 2nd half almost gave me a damn ulcer. I'm a pretty calm guy, but I was close to snapping and my girlfriend kept telling me to turn it off before I broke something. To be honest I probably should have listened, but for some reason I'm a damn sadomasochist and had to watch it to the bitter end. I've watched every game since I became a phins fan in 07 (which is rare for someone who lives in Canada) and I don`t think I can recall any two quarters of Dolphins football that I found more frustrating since the Cameron days, not even the playoff blow out to Baltimore in 08. I certainly don`t pretend to be the most knowledgeable fan in the world, I tend to trust the decision making of the coaches since I know that half the time I don`t know what I`m talking about, but all I could think in the second half was why isn`t Sherman changing up the play calling? OP you`re completely right, where were the screens to Wallace? How do have that kind of talent on your team and not call more plays specifically designed to get the ball in his hands in space? When it was clear that the oline couldn't protect Tannehill, why not call more roll outs? That was an absolute pathetic performance in the 2nd half and it was only rivaled by the pathetic lack of adjustments our coaching staff made. I still believe in Tannehill to be honest, I think many people are over reacting when it comes to him. Yes he has more work to do, but he has all the talent in the world, but I think I've lost complete faith in Philbin. What made it worst is that I had a sports select which payed out 171$ and I had every game right, minus the phins game. I never bet on the dolphins either, my step dad told me to never bet with my heart and I normally follow that rule, but I really thought we were going to come out today and shock the pats. I was right, we did, we just couldn't sustain it for 4 quarters.

e: also **** the refs, I think they made me lose even more of my already thinning hair today, the bastards. Vernon was clearly attempting to bring in that fumble (the logic that awful call was premised on, was that he would of preferred to slap it down the field then recover it).

That's a pretty good point. We wouldn't land a big name that's for sure. However Ross can't afford to keep these guys on board any longer. He saw what happened with soprano!

There is a thread about Gruden, he already turned the Dolphins down a couple of years ago. Same with Bill Cowher. Even if these guys decided they wanted back in, why would they choose Miami over other possible destinations? The Giants might be looking for a new coach. Same goes for Houston. What does Miami offer above those teams?

Not saying it is an excuse to keep what we have or even endorsing that we need to keep what we have. Not saying that at all, just wondering what quality coaches and GMs out there would want to come to Miami?

It's highly likely they turned us down due to being saddled with Ireland. Same with Jeff Fisher.

There are only a handful of these jobs in the entire world. Thats why this will be attractive.

Oh, and they see the fact that even if they are truly awful they will still be able to pass the blame onto others and get away with it. Like the fans. Whose fault this really is anyways.

If we are not lucky this team may move to la. Where I am sure they will win a Super Bowl.

I'm against blowing it up. We are close. We need better QB play. We need to bench Wallace.
Tweaking is needed, not a redo.
