Bob McAdoo GB QB coach a possible candidate

Just FYI but Bill Belichick hired a young offensive coordinator with no experience.

At this point it sounds like Ben McAdoo will get the OC job if he accepts it. He’s receiving interest from other teams though.

This quote is almost identical to the words on the Ticket when they announced that Sherman was fired around 1:30/1:45. The immediately speculated on McAdoo. I wish that of people would credit their source.

Can we stop comparisons with organizations that are dynasties?

LOL, the czar thing is not about Joe Philbin.

It is about Ireland AND Philbin.

With the mess we have in our organization we will have to settle for who we can get. It's a disaster.

To many whiners in the Dolphins ranks. We missed the playoffs on the last week of the season. Most experienced pro football evaluators rate our young QB as a franchise worthy player . A single play in a couple game our a couple missed FG's kept us from the playoffs with a team that many never considered was ready to make them in the first place. We were 4-3 against playoff teams. Things are closer to good than bad. If people have a hard time with it pick up a copy of madden if you don't have it, put it on easy, and have all the fun you want.

it HAS to be Mcadoo, its ironic this happened after the packers got eliminated tho, good for philbin tho i am respecting him more!
yes indeed, maybe they wanted McAdoo to be available and then pull the trigger. his resume is very impressive. philbin wanted him before Sherman but Mcarthy said no, now his contract is up.

You're the one whining about hiring an inexperienced OC like its the dumbest thing ever. Bill Belichick disagrees. I'll trust his and Joe Philbins opinion on the matter over yours thank you very much.

I hope Joe calls the plays and hires a behind the scenes OC that send the plays down to him. Just like McCarthy. And maybe an OC that is on field level for a change. That would get him more "involved' in the game and give him the opportunity to showcase his offensive acumen.

Bill Belichick is an experienced coach. He can go with a neophyte coordinator.

Joe Philbin is extremely inexperienced as HC…has never been one until Miami…he NEEDS experienced coordinators.

You're not ready to take the training wheels off our head coach? At what point is he experienced enough? I'm noticing a theme of extreme conservatism with you, I'm surprised you like Gus Malzahn as a coaching prospect. Not surprised you liked Jeff Fisher however.

Fisher has been worse so far in St. Louis than Philbin has been in Miami. Have to think Hayden would want Fisher fired if he was a Rams fan. Right?

When is Joe experienced enough? When he gets his team over .500, I will consider him experienced.

I am conservative? What is Joe Philbin? Joe is the blandest HC going...

Let me make a few points here…

1. I liked the idea and so did you, of Jeff Fisher coming to Miami. However, I never thought it would happen. I supported the idea of Brian Billick and Mike McCoy.
2. I find it funny that Fisher spurned the Fins in part that the NFC West was an "easier" division. Ooops.
3. I would not want Jeff Fisher fired because he and Les Snead are building a team that you can see their vision. The RGIII trade will be amazing for them as they have the #2 pick in the draft and got some explosive play makers last year in the draft. Their defensive line is also outstanding.
4. I think it is a jump for you to say Joe has done "better" than Fisher. Both have been under .500, but I think Fisher has his team set up in the years ahead while Joe could very well be on the hot seat next year. Plus, there is a little controversy that Joe had in his locker room that Fisher didn't. Do I blame Martingate on Joe? No. However, there is no question he is out of touch with his players.

Its obvious that Joe Philbin's backers bar is becoming lower and lower each month. It was such a bad selection.

This according to NFL.com. Not sure i like this. I would prefer someone without similarity to Philbin and Sherman. I'm all in for Jay Gruden but he probably won't take another coordinating job. If not him I'd like Kubiac.

Did you see the playoff game yesterday? Did you see Andy Dalton's lack of progress? I don 't want anything to do with Jay Gruden.

Has the guy even called plays before? That should be the most important thing. We need a guy with a fresh look, tired of bringing in our mediocre coach's friends.

That didn't stop Philbin from getting a promotion...what's calling plays really mean? lol
