Bob McAdoo GB QB coach a possible candidate

6 yr TE coach with 2 year as QB coach who has no experience calling plays. Sounds exactly like something the Dolphins would do. As per an Armondo tweet, Philbin has done an exceptional job at bringing in coaches with no NFL experience in the position of hire

Consider Joe Philbin hired OL, QB, DB, WR coaches with no NFL experience and DC and RB coach with no NFL experience at their new duties.

Why should this young coach come and work under a lame duck?

Joe's not a lame duck. The fact that Jeff Ireland STILL HAS A JOB is proof that Steve Ross just isn't going to fire people unless he catches them stealing money or sleeping with his wife.

Be careful what you wish for, you wanted Sherman out lets see how well the next guy is....no OC experience, never called plays same as Philbin so we have two guys who never called plays and we still have the same OL......I hope this pound of flesh makes folks happier than they were last week....

Is this daja vu? I know how this movie ends, after Sparano 2nd season the OC fired along with the OL coach who had the 12th best rated line in the league, following yr DC fired, the year after that stick a knife in the coaches back and fire him the following season......repeat...

I don't get the whole hasn't called plays argument.

I haven't called plays either but I know what plays may work during certain situations watching football my whole life.

McAdoo was around the GB offense, understands what creative play calling is, understands moving the qb around helps. Maybe this guy will move Wallace around than just lining him up on the left side.

Also the Go, Go Go cadence will be gone.

That's because no one worth anything that has experience would take the job....so the only way to fill the position is to take a chance on a new guy looking for a promotion....this is what this organization has come too

I don't get that argument either unless it's because they want 'their' guy to be hired.

It's more about game planning, how are you going to attack the defense, what formations will you use to put your people in the best possible position to succeed on game day....

Moving Mike Wallace around will be a start.
