Bob McAdoo GB QB coach a possible candidate

I'm not sure what a QB coach for Rodgers, Peyton or Brady really does other than mostly listen. That said, McAdoo is the best choice for this team, at this time. The basic system stays the same and has this year to prove it works. Otherwise, it's back to the drawing board.

Do you think he would able to come up with a simpler snap count? The whole "GO" -- "GO-GO" thing was too complicated

So if Philbin brings in McAdoo that gives Miami a HC and an OC that has no play calling experience. Sounds like a plan...

Did you see the playoff game yesterday? Did you see Andy Dalton's lack of progress? I don 't want anything to do with Jay Gruden.

That has more to do with Dalton being terrible. Dude is already as good as he'll ever be. If anything, the fact that the offense has been that effective with Dalton back there is a credit to Gruden's ability.

Don't buy that.

Jay Gruden has done nothing special as a OC. He has a stacked offensive roster, and he still calls 60 pass plays a game. Not a good recipe for winning.

Philbin is a smart guy. He has to know that his job is not safe. If he thinks McAdoo is the right guy, bring him in. Let Philbin right this ship or sink it.

Pressure either brings out the best in people, or they just fail.

There are alot of things going right for this franchise.

It will take a few months for some on here to figure out what that is.

I think that's what we're going to be left with. The urgency Philbin feels likely won't lead him to make the best hire for the franchise, but for his own comfort. Which be his demise.

Hitting .500 for the 2nd time in 6 years (3rd time in 10 years)?

Let me make a few points here…

1. I liked the idea and so did you, of Jeff Fisher coming to Miami. However, I never thought it would happen. I supported the idea of Brian Billick and Mike McCoy.
2. I find it funny that Fisher spurned the Fins in part that the NFC West was an "easier" division. Ooops.
3. I would not want Jeff Fisher fired because he and Les Snead are building a team that you can see their vision. The RGIII trade will be amazing for them as they have the #2 pick in the draft and got some explosive play makers last year in the draft. Their defensive line is also outstanding.
4. I think it is a jump for you to say Joe has done "better" than Fisher. Both have been under .500, but I think Fisher has his team set up in the years ahead while Joe could very well be on the hot seat next year. Plus, there is a little controversy that Joe had in his locker room that Fisher didn't. Do I blame Martingate on Joe? No. However, there is no question he is out of touch with his players.

Its obvious that Joe Philbin's backers bar is becoming lower and lower each month. It was such a bad selection.

Yeah but Fisher is stuck with Bradford, a guy far enough into his career to be considered a definitive disappointment as an overall #1 pick. Fisher picked St. Louis because they had a QB in place. That may now be his downfall if Bradford doesn't step it up.

Imagine Bradford in Miami?!?! Dear lord he woulda been shredded and fed to the sharks by Finheaven years ago.

I don't disagree with you. I would take RT ahead of Bradford. His ACL was brutal in their efforts this year.

Why does Philbins time get lumped in with Morano and Cam Cameron? Philbin: 7-9, 8-8, ?

Finheaven logic at its finest.

I would be extremely excited to see Philbin call plays while McAdoo serves a role much like Philbin in Green Bay of organizing and preparing the offense for Gameday.

We hired Philbin for his offensive acumen, I'd like to see it. It makes him more involved, it allows fans to see him more active on sidelines, it builds a closer relationship with his potential franchise QB.

It also doesn't change too much but just enough to escape Sherman's stagnant and poor playcall choices.
