Boone please!!!

Saw on Twitter that Boone is on the block for a conditional 3rd. Not sure if that is actually true, but I may consider that if I were the Dolphins. We have the cap space to do it and he would make this line sooooo much better. The 9ers offense has been horrible. Maybe we could give them Binns or Damian Williams and a 4th. Both are on the bubble and at least 1 will not make this team. Both are better than most of their receivers. They have Crabtree and Boldin, but not much of anything else.

I love our WRs if we have an injury to 1 or 2 we would still be ok. I wanna keep that depth. trade Jordan or a draft choice. I'd be tempted to trade Jordan, I don't see him outproducing Shelby or even Fede for that matter if Fede was given the playing time

I love our WRs too but at least 1 of the 2 I mentioned will not make the team. Neither will make it to the PS without getting picked up. Not even sure they are eligible, so we wouldn't be able to keep them for depth anyway. Maybe Hazel and Cone on the PS but if Binns or Williams get cut, they are gone. Jordan has been a disappointment, bit no way would I trade him yet.

Hazel would be eligible for PS, Cone wouldn't.

I would do this.

You seriously think two scrub receivers and a low pick would net us one of the better guards in the league?

Right now, Miami is about $11 million under the salary cap. Boone would cost us about half of that space. Unfortunately, we may need every penny of that to roll forward to deal with the next offseason, when we'll need new contracts for Pouncey, Odrick, and Clay, and perhaps to fend off an offer sheet on Shelby.

If it is true he could be had for a 3rd and they need receivers, the yes, I do. Binns and Williams are not scrubs. I think either could be a 3rd or 4th receiver for a lot of teams. We just have too many other options. I am not sure if I believe that Boone can be had for a 3rd anyway, but that is what is out there.

Every year it seems that we are always deficient in some area on the team. We either do not have a QB that can throw the ball or receivers that can catch it, a run defense that is stout and our pass defense sux, 17yrs of with a spectacular passing attack and a non-existent running game. Just once I would like to see a balanced team. We obviously have a huge problem with the Oline. We have the money and if the compensation is not too high, I say go out and get some help for a glaring need.

[STRIKE]Martin[/STRIKE] Thomas has no heart. What ever we do, we better do it quick.

McCoy is better than any DT in our division, easily. I need to see more of Thomas before I render judgement, but I do share your concern.

Can't believe you are underestimating our division's DL when it contains guys like Wilkerson for the Jets, Darius for the Bills and Wilfork for the Pats....smh..

Trade Hartline to San Fran for Boone, they get the receiver they need and we get the guard we desperately need. We have excellent depth at WR and won't be weak at WR and we will gain on the OL....

I guess I am no CBA expert but how does our current cap space co-relate to next years? also I do not want to give Pouncey a ****ing dime. IMO opinion we are trying to imagine instant relief from Irelands awful draft/FA moves. He overpaid for **** but that should not sway us for getting quality at a need position. its called ignore "sunk costs" aka turn the page. we need a guard NOW. next year let that POS Pouncey go, sign Clay and draft a replacement for Pouncey. that is MY GM thinking
