Boston > Chambers

Hate to break it to ya, Boston doesn't have any drops this pre-season. Chambers does. Even if Boston isn't at exactly 100% of what he was when with the Cardinals, he's still just as good, if not better than Chambers. Boston's worst season was Chambers best season. Chambers isn't on some unattainable level. He's simply a good WR who's being watched to see if he can ever put it together to be great - but how many seasons are we going to be asking ourselves this same question?

THAT COMMENT WON'T GO OVER WELL IN HERE...BUT I AGREE........ THAT CHAMBERS NEEDS TO RISE TO THE OCCASION AND PROVE HE CAN BE THE#1 GUY.

Boston better than Chambers? what are you smoking? Boston has made all his preseason "catches" in the 3rd and 4th quarters of each game this preseason, against 3rd-rate DBs.

When he starts doing the same thing in the 1st quarters against the first string, then i'll buy in to your theory.

we'll see at the end of this year. mark this thread. we'll come back and laugh at you.

I agree with you completely.

..First off the WR situation we have is GREAT!! This is the best WR corps in Dolphins history if you ask me...Question is are we gonna get the QB play to validate that? Facts are between Boston, Chambers, and Booker they all have postive and negative things in their game..but in the end we are LUCKY to have the three of them.

..One thing I can say for a FACT is Boston has alot of hater's on this board who will likely never appreciate his talent for what it really is.

..We all love Chambers because he has been here a while and gave us some real memorable moments.

..We all know Booker is a great posession WR who can get the 1st down when we need it most.

..The ongoing arguement about who is better and why will never be won by anyone until the last game of the year.....We all have our strong beliefs on who is better but as of now who can say?? I have changed my personal depth chart from Chamber's,Booker,Boston...I have switched Boston to #2 and this is why..

..If your a DC it is a tougher match up on 1st down with Chamber's and Boston as the 1-2..because unless you have a lockdown corner wich there are none in the AFC east if you ask me...How can you leave your CB on a nisland alone vs. CC or DB??? Both are very fast and will beat you deep...With them 2 starting how are you gonna stack the box to stop the run?? are you gonna leave Mcmike one on one with a LB?? NO!!

..My point is with CC and DB lining up the majority of the game you have some serious matchup problems..Chambers has ALWAYS had a saftey helping whatever CB was on him...WHY because we have never had a gamebreaker on the other side of Chris...We have had good possesion Wr's...But never a WR that will make you pick your poison..with Boston defense's are at A disadvantage matchup wise....

..Now all this is thrown out the window if we cant get someone to get them the ball!! (Boston showed that vs.TB)

..I believe we will be more of a threat with DB and CC...

..and please save the "knee" problems or "steriod" stuff because all that matters is how they do on Sundays.

I think we all love Chambers, because he's always been a Dolphin.

..That too.......but you cant argue some of those brilliant catches were memorable.

No u cannot, most notably the TD he should have had against the Jets that the refs overturned :shakeno:

Boston when fully healty is better than Chambers and there is no debate about it.

Boston is faster and a better route runner.

That can be a valid arguement..all I'm saying is they will compliment eachother VERY well:eek:

Or maybe Frerotte or AJ will complete one to him down the field for once when he's got his man badly beaten dowfield. Nice try though. Thanks for playing.

you people are so sensitive and on the lookout for sarcasm. poor souls.

i'll restate it.

maybe boston will get to show what he's got and catch a ball down the field next time. cross your fingers. kiss kiss.

i'm not even going to get into who is better. it's a dead argument. you can't for a second compare the opportunities they've had against varying defenses and how the qb was performing at the time. boston still hasn't made the long catch in a game nor broken a tackle (what? one last night). so, while i was very excited to see him open last night, and respectfully, i think that had something more to do with the defense they played (some busted zone), maybe next week he can catch a pass for over 10 yards.

ouch... i remember it. he had his feet down, with his legs crossed and it wa s beautiful grab. but he bobbled it a little when he hit the ground. ANYTHING looks like its moving/bobbling in slow motion. I still get mad at that call. but no one else really remembers it.

I do because I remember that same year Vick has his infamous dive TD.

He leaped from the ground, he dove, the ball just crosses the plain and a defender knocks the ball lose. Vicks feet were never on the ground

Yet Chambers clearly showed control, he had 2 feet him and was stabilized but the ball pops out when he hits the ground.

How is one a TD and the other isn't. Should Vick have had to have control then to till he hits the ground.

The ball needs to cross the plain while having control and Chambers clearly did.

It's not just Vick it is all over the league.

you don't have to have your feet on the ground for rushing TDs. you could dive just over the pylon, feet landing out of bounds, fumbling just beyond the pylon and it's still a TD.
