Boston > Chambers

Oh c'mon .........you're exaggerating the truth here........... If D-Bo were put in the game during 3rd and 4th string scrub fest periods, he'd be a man among boys. Boston's typically played in the 2nd and 3rd quarters of the preseason, yet appeared in the 1st quarter of this game against TB.
yes he did. i look forward to seeing him in the regular season.

Are you even listening to the radio shows or watching the broadcasts?? The announcers can't stop talking about how good Boston looks. He's our ace in the hole this year.

While I know certain people here won't believe it, I hope he is ready to contribute from the 3 hole and that he makes us all cheer as much as he can given his knees. I still stand by my choice of Booker and expect him to post the best season of the three.

No. No he did not. Farmer, Mann, and Newson have been playing the garbage time. Saban has restricted D-Bo to just a couple of quarters and never the 4th quarter in order to make sure they bring him along ok.

I just don't understand what the difference is between Dolphin Booker and Bears Booker. Over in Chi-town he turned crap into diamonds, given how bad John Shoop's dink-and-dunk offense was - not to mention their rotating carousel of CFL-calibur QB's.......... For me, he just seems to be "another" guy out there on the field. I'm waiting for him to make a mark. No doubt the guy is talented.

............... I am loving the effort out of that man David Boston. Call me crazy, but you can't help but think if he stays healthy, he could put up better numbers than Chambers. He runs his routes ten times better and is just simply physically unstoppable.

I have always said that. Boston is a baller. I think he and CC are maybe close on the same level but Boston is wayyyy better than Booker. Booker cries at night.

i dont know who is better but i know what Boston can do with Chambers and boston Gus can do good things with a good line(if it is possible for the line to do better)

Boston is the best receiver on the team. He has proved himself atleast. What has Chambers proved. He can make awsome catches. That doesnt get you nowhere. Gadsden made unbelievable catches with Miami, but now hes probably sitting at home looking for a job. You cant say that Chambers is better than Boston because he has done nothing in his career to prove it. I think that Chambers has a hard time playing as a #1. Hed be better off as a #2. And this year, the best and most complete receiver on the fins will be DAVID BOSTON.

That comment disgusts me, and I am ashamed to even think you're a fan of this team. :fire:

You have to understand that it's tough to judge anybody by last year, much less a player acquired from a different system with no real OC (at least one that knows the offense himself) to help bring him along. I put no stock in the preseason, so I won't even address that.

A healthy Boston > healthy Chambers.

While I have grave doubts about his knees ever letting him be 100% of what he was, I think everybody here would have to grant that Boston's best days were better than the best days Chambers had had so far.

If he's better than Chambers. Why did Welker start ahead of him tonight?

..........Really now, not a hard question. Saban's been plugging players in and out. It's not like David Boston has been dropping balls like Donald Lee or Derrius Thompson.......or perhaps not showing up at all. Saban simply put Welker in at the 3 to see what he could do.
