Boston > Chambers

Does it really matter? I like Chambers as the no.1 it would be nice to see Boston as the no.2 on the outside, and Booker in the slot as no.3. All I know is that Miami has one hell of a trio, actually great depths too, that seems like it might be wasted by Frerrote being incapable of completing any passes, he's doing worse every week. I hope Feeley starts now, because even if he does mediocre, at least he has something to prove and has more upside whereas Frerotte is what he is. Feeley is still a ? I think we should play him this season, and truly see what he's got, on preseason game won't tell you, it's not like Miami's going to the super bowl this year.

Ways to go in terms of? So far in the preseason he's doing exactly what's been expected out of him all along.

You betcha! He was excellent tonight. Was very disappointed in Chambers, in fact couldn't believe he missed 2 nice passes he should have had (one for a TD)

..........Really now, not a hard question. Saban's been plugging players in and out. It's not like David Boston has been dropping balls like Donald Lee or Derrius Thompson.......or perhaps not showing up at all. Saban simply put Welker in at the 3 to see what he could do.

Ok, but Chambers and Booker have been #1 and #2 throughout the whole preseason. Boston hasn't been #3 the whole preseason. I'm not putting him down, I'm really pulling for him. But he still isn't back to where he once was.

bad throw, he would have been out of bounds on that throw even if he caught it.

Boston is the best receiver on the team. He has proved himself atleast. What has Chambers proved. He can make awsome catches. That doesnt get you nowhere. Gadsden made unbelievable catches with Miami, but now hes probably sitting at home looking for a job. You cant say that Chambers is better than Boston because he has done nothing in his career to prove it. I think that Chambers has a hard time playing as a #1. Hed be better off as a #2. And this year, the best and most complete receiver on the fins will be DAVID BOSTON.
are you serious? this is the hands-down winner for stupidest post of the thread.

............... I am loving the effort out of that man David Boston. Call me crazy, but you can't help but think if he stays healthy, he could put up better numbers than Chambers. He runs his routes ten times better and is just simply physically unstoppable.
this is completely true

Boston better than Chambers? what are you smoking? Boston has made all his preseason "catches" in the 3rd and 4th quarters of each game this preseason, against 3rd-rate DBs.

When he starts doing the same thing in the 1st quarters against the first string, then i'll buy in to your theory.

we'll see at the end of this year. mark this thread. we'll come back and laugh at you.

LOL I guess you missed the 3 times Boston would have had a TD tonight when he blew by his defenders. Oh by the by, each time was against the 1st stringers.

It's a shame your hero Frerotte is still very inaccurate.

Thank you. It was like the doubters completely overlooked that fact.

Explain why?

Boston has a Pro Bowl year under his belt plus a 1000 yard season.

What does Chambers have? Oh that's right the question he has every year. "So guys, is this gonna be the year Chambers finally breaks out?"

He completely overlooks Boston like he does Feeley.

It's a shame really that some people are so stubborn and blind.

what are you talking about? I can't stand Frerotte. and when did Boston blow by his defenders? what does that mean to this argument? Chambers had his defender beat in the first quarter when Frerotte couldn't hit him and he was wide open. what are you trying to prove?

saying that Boston beat his defenders on x plays is like saying Ricky would have had a hole had they ran the ball that down. If it doesn't happen it doesn't count. don't make up virtual-stats.

You act like it's a ridiculous notion........I think you need to take a look at their careers and reassess just how "unrealistic" it would be to think Boston could have a better season.
bro it is unrealistic...boston isnt the same player he once was..he's good, but he's not on chambers level anymore, plus chamber has better hands
