home teams win in 58% of tonight's ref Brad Allen's games & cover 56% ATS since 2016NFL average is 55% win & 49% coverAllen's crews have called an above average rate of penalties on road teams in his career, per @nflrefstats1 tonight?8 penalties (60 yds) on MIA0 on PHI

I wouldn't blame the refs for the reason we lost, but they did miss a few. As said, the face mask was missed, but I also some other stuff like one of our lineman's helmet being pushed off the back of his head. I thought that should have been illegal hands to the face.

Side note: Weird writing style. Do you think that article was written by chatAI or some other artificial intelligence program?

The game went about how I thought, so I'm not so pissed about the result, but I counted 3 missed OL holding against Phila (blatant) two pass interference/holding that were missed (blatant).
And that call against Wilkins was rough, and obviously the missed facemask.
I get that a ref crew doesn't get every call right, but wow, this is one of those games that re-ignites the "fixed" debate. I'm not saying it was fixed, but it is, as a previous poster said, a bad look.

You missed about 3 false starts by Philly as well.

The Iggles were the better team tonight, but the game would have been closer if called more evenly. There were no false start penalties called on the OL who started early 75% of the time. The face mask was missed but more importantly the10-0 penalty difference just looks bad. I get that the TV market is bigger for Philly but the "Pro Wrestling" aspect of football is becoming more blatant every day.

Obviously, I am not happy with losing, but key injuries are taking their toll. Couple that with some sorry-ass officiating and did we really stand a chance? That said, I am always hopeful we can pull out the win. I did see some good things, so I am actually encouraged. It's a long season. As a young team, we aren't done growing. I think there are some things we can learn from this and in the long run will be better for it.
