Yep and you left out that 18 mil cap hit in 26 as well with that post june 1 cut. Might as well add in 24 as well as he didn't even play. So 16 in 24, 9 in 25 and 18 in 26. 40 mil is cap assets over 3 years with zero games played. No way to sugar coat this deal/trade.We could release him post June 1 with only $9.1M in dead cap and $19.5 in cap savings which would give us more than enough money to sign our draft class and then sign a couple more FA's who are still available.
DE would then become a draft need if we know that is our intention to make him a post June 1 release. Certainly at least by the mid rounds.
