Brady not practicing today?

Being reported as a calf injury. Expected to play Sunday.

Tom Brady was conspicuously absent from New England Patriots practice on Thursday. Now we know why.

The veteran quarterback has landed on the team's injury report with a calf issue.

It's unclear if Brady is dealing with a legitimate injury or the Pats are simply taking the proper precautions with their most important player. Outside of the 2008 season (when he tore his ACL in Week 1), Brady has never missed a start since replacing Drew Bledsoe in 2001. Brady practiced in full on Wednesday.

Being reported as a calf injury

Must be true then...BB said so...

Or Brady's husband missed with the strap-on and stabbed his leg...

Brady is always listed as injured...the NFL injury report is bogus.

This is an odd situation as he missing a primo preparation day. Let's see what happens tomorrow.

Yeah, today is a gameplan practice, good news for us. 37 years old is when it gets tough, I stopped playing baseball at that age, my left knee and my shoulder were shot. I couldn't imagine playing football at that age. Hopefully Wake and Vernon finish him off, I normally don't wish bad things on players but Brady is such a pu##y, man I hate him. I mean look at this guy, he would not have made through one season in the 80's.

Does anyone think this will affect Sunday's game in any way?

He'll play and he won't miss a beat, IMO.

Surprise Tedy Bruschi picked the Pats to win the Super Bowl….can the Fins please go kick their ass Sunday?

This makes me think it probably is serious, and wherever the real injury is its probably nowhere near his calf.

Looks like ol' Bill is pulling out all the stops for this game.

People forget that he's 37 years old and has never been very athletic. Statistically older players are slower to recover.
It may be nothing but it is unusual for a top QB like Brady to miss practice just before the opening game.
