Brady Quinn signs

I would have rather had Grossman here. Brady Quinn is about as fun as that signing of JP Losman we had a couple years. I understand the necessity of signing someone and just wish it hadn't been someone I despise watching.

Well, here we are seven years later and seven other teams, but Brady Quinn is finally a Miami Dolphin. Not that I ever wanted him, but judging from what the alternative was and how our luck has been practically ever since, maybe just maybe this will finally "reset" everything and allow those dark clouds over our heads to pass. One can wish :-)

Meh, let me know when we sign Patrick Willis. :d-day:

I will say they those who wanted us to draft Quinn made a hell of a lot more sense than those who pumped up the Ginn pick.

Finally, we have a real winner here at QB..............In his career, Brady Quinn has a completion rate of 53.8% for only 5.5 YPA and has thrown 12 touchdowns and 17 interceptions, with a QB rating of only 64.4 rating. And he has 1 TD rushing.

Tim Tebow while not great, is better. In his career (counting the Jets) he has had a completion rate of only 47.9 but has a 6.7 YPA average so while he has completed less, he has averaged more yards per attempt partly because he almost never dumped off the ball. And he has thrown 17 TDs to 9 interceptions with a QB rating of 75.3. And he has ran for 12 TDs.

Brady Quinns win-loss record is 3-16 and has never been in a play off game.

Tim Tebow win-loss record is 8-6 and is 1-1 in the play offs. His QB rating in the play offs is 90.0.

It's funny reading the 'similar threads' at the bottom of this page about Quinn, back in 2006-2008

If the team told him "we only need you for a few weeks until everybody is healthy" and he doesn't start with Fox until September, why not take a two week job for good pay?

Because he would be risking his health for a crappy paycheck and scrub work? Is it really worth the risk for him? He could tear up his knees or god forbid get paralyzed (worst case scenario). I don't know, I just don't see why a guy with a good gig lined up would it give it up for the chance to do mop-up duty for a few preseason games...

Moe Torboat @MoeNos 34s Brady Quinn's contract with #Dolphins is for one year and $2 million, as reported.

I'm sure he'd get his analyst job back if he is cut...probably some kind of language about that written in it...not sure Quinn's much of a fit for this offense but neither is Matt Moore and he's here...

Stay healthy tannehill...or we are done

What makes you think he's giving up the Fox gig and not just delaying his report to work date? Also He might make more in two weeks with the Dolphins than he stands to make in five months with Fox.
