I think there is some merit to the idea of getting a young DE in the fold and it's the sleeper position for Miami at 14 in this draft. I am assuming Dion Jordan moves to LB, but we don't know for sure.
Over the last 3 years he was rated PFF's #1 edge defender in the NFL per 100 snaps. Not to give PFF all this glory like they are the end all be all . . . but it shows you how impressive he is against the run, and our #1 DE really struggled against that. Question is, how much is he going to improve as a pass rusher, especially next to Suh. I think it could of been real good for us.
This Graham move would of only made sense if you got Wake to restructure or cut him outright. I would of been for this move . . . definitely.
Oh well, back to more pressing needs in the secondary.
