I think in general, teams who are playing on the road dont look as hot as when just playing at home in a blowout.

Rogers doesnt know us much but will be much better in second half.

If we win the LOS on both sides, we win. Thats just how I see it. unless we fumble the ball 3 times all bets off.

as I recall they also were missing like 10 key players.

Interesting that from 1990 - 1995 the Dolphins were 7-0 after Bye weeks. Of course those were Shula coached teams. Also 6 of those 7 games had Marino at QB. The only exception being the 2nd Bye in '93(forget why there were 2 Bye weeks in '93) after Marino had torn his Achilles vs Cleveland in week 6.

Lazor just needs to stick with the strength of the offense as it is now. The team has been surprisingly good at running the ball. That is also the weakness of the Packers defense. Need to pound the ball and keep Rodgers and that offense off the field. Take some shots off of play action. Hope the defense can at least slow their offense down just enough. Wake, Vernon and the rest of that d-line need to bring their A games. It will be good to see Misi back. They will need him to help keep Lacy from running wild.

I imagine Philbin being nice to his former colleagues and allow them to win this one in Miami.

I'll tell ya one thing.. Coyle better stray grin the norm and come up with a good game plan and call good plays because if not Rodgers and lacy will rip is apart.

Dolphins finally have a chance to get a win against a quality opponent. The Bills have two wins against the Lions and Bears (who are better than their record indicates) and the Pats just got one against the Bengals. This is where we see if the Phins can run with the big boys, or we can just shut down our expectations for yet another year.

My opinion? We are going to need to see Jones, Delmas/Thomas, Grimes, and Finnegan each play the game of their lives to keep this one within striking distance, and for Tannehill to put together back to back solid weeks. It could happen, but safe money isn't on it.

Well, Miami does have a quality win against the Patriots, a team everyone automatically expected be a playoff team without even a game played.

I'm more interested in which week we get the Bye historically. Always feels like we get the short end of the stick with an early Bye.

Correct, that's a general trend. Roads teams coming off a victory normally aren't as desperate or energized as road teams coming off a loss. It was unfortunate we drew the Chiefs at 0-2. They weren't as bad as they looked in the first two games anyway, and suddenly they were desperate for a victory.

This Green Bay game reminds me somewhat of our game hosting Seattle in 2012 and Carolina last season. Both teams were coming off a string of at least 2+ satisfying victories. They didn't figure to be at their most intense and they were not. Each game came down to the final minutes of the 4th quarter with the outcome in balance. I expect that again.

The Packers are good but not great in YPPA Differential. They are currently +1.0. That's a mid level playoff team. Dolphins are -.2, which is their typical area in recent seasons.
