The Chargers get a pretty favorable schedule next year. They get the NFC South which is really bad. Plus they get Arizona and New England.
They do get the 4 AFC North which is not easy.

But much like missing a Lombardi wasn't Marino's fault, it won't be Tua's fault either.
Bad QBs don't just miraculously lead the league & make the pro bowl.
Tua just isn't special. But killing him for it is like going to see a movie a buddy told you was epic but then hating the movie because it only turned out to be ok. You're overcompensating due to expectation.
