BREAKING NEWS: QB Named

I'd rather have Frerotte overthrowing his deep passes than have Jay Fiedler constantly underthrowing them or AJ Feeley not even attempting them.

AMEN!!

it was in a PM.....there was no thread, and it was about the opening day starter. I dont keep those things, your inbox gets full and have to empty it every once in awhile. you should know with your avatar making.

and to think, I was going to let you off easy by just carrying a sig rather than changing both your sig and avatar. but whatever, you dont want to do it, thats your perrogative

No, I certainly dont recall a PM.. I remember saying something in a thread.. I honestly dont recall with who.. But I really dont recall a PM.. But if you would just tell me what this bet was about, and what it entailed, Id do it. but following the season.

Not surprised, but it doesn't matter who starts. We're gonna suck....big time. 5-11....maybe even 4-12 again.

That's the spirit!

What really bugs me about this is that we have up a 2nd round pick for a 3rd string QB who couldnt even beat out the 3rd string QB we already had on our team!!

F##* YOU Spielman!!

didnt you have a bet with INFINS, btw JD?

Ricky isnt a QB. He is supplementary player. Ricky would be an abysmal failure as a QB. As is Couch.

Well, our O was RB-centered last year and will probably be this year unless Frerotte suddenly turns into a Michael Vick with throwing ability. Ricky was hardly a supplementary player. I'm not saying make Couch the undisputed starter, but he's worth a look as a cheap option who has the potential. AJ's been a bigger bust considering what we gave up.

No way. He better own up to it!

These Feeley huggers never let us off the hook when we said that he wouldnt ever lead this team.

They must pay!!

Also a possibility that once the season goes a little longer frerotte and our recievers will develop more of a chemistry.

I really wouldnt count on it.

This is how his chemistry developped in during his last starting job: 2002 Cincinnati Bengals 4 3 85 44 51.8 437 5.14 51 1 5 10/74 2 1 46.1

But here's hoping...

Exactly... remember that dreaded out pattern Feeley throws....Overthrows are better incompletions than interceptions....
Besides.. loft the ball out there and make Chambers get after it...
Our receivers dont have excuses for not gitting into the long ball.
Gus may be old... and may have looked marginal.. But he has a gun for an arm...
He hasnt thrown alot of passes that didnt make sense... lets hope this offense rallies and makes plays.

No comparison... crappy team, no talent... bad coaching.. poor schemes.

We're one step better than Fiedler... Gus is no Marino.... but I feel better with him than with Feeley

Yeah, but that one lasts until the end of the season..

But so far it looks like its gonna be some tater salad for Infins..

Hey jerky.. Stay out of this. Im truly fed up with the mindless crap you constantly post on these boards. I said Id own up, so stay out of our affairs. And I was never a hugger, Im a rational being.

That's disgusting. No wonder Jon Kitna was so loved by the Bengals fans when he had that breakout season. Though, if one was to judge by the preseason, he's not that far off from his Cinci days. I suppose if the O-Line would perform better, Frerotte would put up decent play. Peyton Manning didn't do as well until the FO retooled the O-Line.

LMAO! I love it! I can see it now......

A.J.: "Coach, I have an idea."

Sage: "Shut up and hold this damned clip board. Oh yeah, bring me some water while your at it."

A.J.: "That's ok, make fun of me all you want.....at least I don't have to get hit by those big guys out there anymore......that s**t really hurts. HEY HEATHER, HOW'S MY HAIR?"
