if we're not even gunna give Feeley a chance... then why didn't we draft a QB ???
I thought AJ was gunna get an oppurtunity to prove himself, but apparently he throws a few picks in the preseason and we're gunna throw him away and throw away any promise at developing a QB this year???? I guess we are gunna hafta watch Gus and Sage until we can find some kid who's better next year. I really hopes Saban pulls a fast one and starts Feeley week 1, or atleast gives him a chance at some point.

Well I'll admit I was hoping Feeley would become the starter because it would mean hewas good enough to win the job. That would have been better for the team, to have a guy on the rise, but he turned out to not be effective so I'll just be glad it is resolved and we get Gus his reps. It's true that a longer throwing QB will do us better instead of clogging up with the short dump offs. Too bad Feeley never got comfortable and threw more bombs because I think he can hit them with his arm. But his problems are other things than his arm, we all know that.
This decision will help the running game if Gus can hit some long ones. The problem is he hasn't done it much yet, but maybe with more game experience with teh receivers it will come. Let's hope.

But you dont realize how much guys like me got flamed by the likes of certain people for saying that Feeley wasnt the answer at QB. Then having to listen to excuse, after excuse, after excuse on why Feeleys performances were so bad.
