BREAKING NEWS: QB Named

it was in a PM.....there was no thread, and it was about the opening day starter. I dont keep those things, your inbox gets full and have to empty it every once in awhile. you should know with your avatar making.

and to think, I was going to let you off easy by just carrying a sig rather than changing both your sig and avatar. but whatever, you dont want to do it, thats your perrogative

This wasn't the avatar bet with the Clam chowder and donkey bet was it???
Just wondering?

I'd rather have Frerotte overthrowing his deep passes than have Jay Fiedler constantly underthrowing them or AJ Feeley not even attempting them.

KB is right. Overthrowing a receiver 20 yards down field is a heck of alot better than underthrowing a receiver 7 yards downfield. At least there is the possibility of a pass interference call

huh?

no, it was a bet where the winner would be able to choose an avatar and sig for the other guy. I chose Frerotte, he wanted AJ....but it doesnt matter, its not a big deal

welll we did go 11-5, 9-7, and 10-6 consecutive years with JAY FIEDLER as a starter...

Jay Fiedler did nothing...he was all heart but no arm/skill.

I really wish people would stop digging this crap up.

All the Fiedler supporters will get their chance to watch their boy get his a$$ kicked when he starts a few games this year.

Hello.

In Nick Saban I trust for all things involving the Dolphins! However, I hope Gus Ferrotte can be up to the task of leading the Dolphins on Opening Day against Denver and beyond. I trust that his overthrowing of receivers can be attributed to him not being in sync with his receivers and that the throwing hiccups will be resolved in practices.

Knowing that there's a definite #1 QB can only help the team in so many ways and will enable the teammates to rally around their man and make for a cohesive team as a result. The teammates will have to pitch in their individual efforts in making Gus a more long-term QB for the season, i.e., catching passes, the RB's toting the rock hard, the OL picks up Hudson's blocking schemes to the letter, the defense cleaning up whatever offensive mistakes made (interceptions/fumbles) and more.

Otherwise, I'm afraid it could be a short hook for Gus and Nick may promote other QB's like Sage or AJ. I have a feeling that the Dolphins have a three-headed monster manning the QB position and that the Dolphins will have to acquire a top-shelf QB via the draft/free agency next season.

Here's to a successful opener against Denver!

Enjoy.
