My first impression after watching that video is how few chances Hartline had for YAC- He had few passes thrown to him in stride. It's unlikely he will ever be a dynamic YAC guy but I think to criticize him now is a bit premature. He had to work for most of his catches.

Just because the throws weren't perfectly on the money, he still needs to keep his feet under him. I think he is good, but I am more hopeful for massive improvement from just about every other potential 1st and 2nd string WRs on the roster (excluding the rookies, cause I haven't seen enough of em). Hartline just doesn't have that "it" factor, IMO.

Jury is out, but Hartline has always impressed with a low bar. Let's see what he can do now that the D's focus is off of a #1 WR. Hopefully, the TE and combination of Bush/Miller can cause enough attention, that Hartline can be as sneaky as ever.

Hartline is a good WR.

But there no way in hell he catches the ball cleanly. He has one of the ugliest forms I have ever seen catching the ball.

I have seen receivers with graceful form drop balls right and left. Catching the ball cleanly is about:

- catching the ball with your hands
- catching the ball at its highest point
- making adjustments to the ball

Ugly form is related but not the key concern.

I'm listening to people suggest that Brian Hartline is a similar player in ability to Brandon Marshall.
I hope you people remember who you are when its time to eat crow.

You might be listening to it but I have not seen anyone here write that. B Hartline is intelligent and mentally stable, Bowel Movement is not.

Good job CK.....You make a great point, this system could be large for Hartline.

The system can make all the difference, look at what playing in New England's system did for Welker.

Shh common sense isnt suppose to be around here.

Hartline would do better than Jordy Nelson in the GB offense imo, he has everything you're looking for in a west coast type receiver, I don't understand why he gets so much hate around here...

I've been going through these threads and I'm just wondering where all this "hate" everybody is claiming is actually occurring. Did I miss the "Hartline Sucks" thread? If thinking he is good, but not great qualifies as "hate," then I guess I need to reevaluate the meaning of the idiotic word "hate."

CK, I heard Omar giving you some love about this video this morning on WQAM. He said "My friend CK Parrot put together a great video of Brian Hartline".

Eh nobody exactly said Hartline has similar ability. I shouldn't have said that.
I do think yr gonna be upset when Bowel Movement is back to his old ways with Cutler and we can't move the ball thru the air at all. We have no QB AND no weapons again dude, I feel like its 2001 again, except our defense isn't half as good... So basically we're terrible.
