Undrafted rookie quarterback Brock Jensen has been released from the Dolphins, a source told the Palm Beach Post.

The Dolphins have signed a quarterback whose name was not immediately available. He is young and unknown, the source said.
Not real surprising, the reviews on Jensen were not real great during OTAs and mini camp. I also don't think I saw his name mentioned the first few days of training camp. I guess we will find out tomorrow morning who the new young QB is. Anyone want to speculate who it could be?

Must've seen enough of him to realize he doesn't have what it takes. I at least wanted to see him in some preseason action.

My feeling is that if he can't legitimately compete with Devlin they are just wasting their time. Devlin needs to be pushed this year and not win the 3rd spot by default.

The debate now becomes do you keep Devlin or open up a roster spot and keep two QB's?

I would love the roster spot, but the way that it seems Lazor is going to use the QB out of the pocket and the issues on the Oline, maybe three Qb's are in order. At the same time, if Devlin is the Q for more than week, what chance does the team really have?

I am inclined to keep RT and Moore at this point and keep more talented players elsewhere on the roster.

Was looking forward to Devlin taking that step forward last year. Didn't happen. You know how this works if we cut a good player say that last WR the QB's will stay relatively healthy and someone else will get a good player. If we stay with just two QB's will kick ourself in the end if we have injuries and say we should have kept three.

If I recall the Dolphins were interested in signing Tyler Russell, Mississippi State, after the draft but he wanted to wait until he was healed to sign with a team. Russell didn't have a good senior year injuries and production wise, but his junior season had him viewed as a mid to late round draft pick. I don't think he could make the 53 man roster but with a good camp he could be worth ca practice squad spot.
