Bye, Bye Jeff, Bye, Bye Joe !!!!

Team hater's are having a field day. They live for this hype.

Fireland, Fire philbin, Ross needs to sell, Team has no leadership, Ryan has no pocket presence, Wallace cant hang on to the ball, bench Sturgis.:oldman:

The players have their teammate's back, but a decent portion of the fans don't have their team's back.

Eff em and the horse they drove in on....

Who are the team haters, the ones that want to get rid of a bad GM with terrible draft pick record, who makes bad personnel decisions and no people skills or the ones who want to keep him??

I guess all those Lions fans who wanted Millen out where also team haters.

People who wanted sparano gone were called haters too

Another Joe Philbin conspiracy thread by this guy.....waste of time....

Its one thing to one player aka JMartin to go insane because players were talking **** in the locker room. But for yall and the media to be all up in arms that players, a coach or even and gm was talking **** is ridiculous lol. Big freaking deal.

It is time for the NFL to mandate that every club have a policy written in bold letters in front of each locker room which should read: You are not allowed to use racial slurs of any kind, nor are you allowed to extort any amount of money from any teammate. Any violation of these rule will be subjected to a 3 game suspension." I know the punishment is a little harsh but if someone is dumb enough to violate the rule then he deserves everything he gets.

I would suggest you should goto Church and take some time for some personal reflection. Ask the lord for help in the ability to think for one's self, and not to be mindless robot taking their marching orders from talking heads on political channels.

Going to church to find the wisdom to stop being a sheeple? Really? I find that flawed but I'm here in Utah.

Extort money....like asking for money you already committed to paying even though you back out last minute? Martin owed them that money, plain and simple.

That was according to Lydon Murtha who has absolutely no credibility.

No credibility? Why, just because he was there and knew the situation. So you believe a player who walks on out his team mid season and is trying to advance an agenda over a guy with no dog in the fight expressing what he knows to be true?

Lydon Murtha has limited credibility but my guess is he was telling the truth there. This is so much he said, she said about little details that it's kind of ridiculous to take any one specific point out of this mess and act as if it's a smoking gun one way or another.

The only person who can put an end to this crap in Jonathan Martin.

Murtha was a teammate of Incognito in high School, Murtha was a teammate of Incognito at Nebraska. Murtha DID NOT spend any time around Martin during the 2012 OTAs because PAC 10 players are not allowed to attend any teams OTAs until their class graduates as i am sure you know. and during that time Murtha was still rehabbing from his back injury. Training Camp began July 2013 and by August 3 2012 Murtha was cut. Are you telling me murtha has that much information on Martin in such a short time? And how could he not have a dog in the fight when this rookie was drafted to take HIS Right Tackle job? No dog in the fight my **s.

Every thread is speculation, because that's all we have to go on, because,...wait for it....

Martin. Is. Not. Talking.

So the code red explanation is as good as any other, and the comment that Martin's agent went to Ireland and was rebuked, makes sense too. It makes more sense than a player simply walking away with no warning whatsoever and no explanation, when his career is just starting. This is what made me angry about Martin, going AWOL, and being a snitch. It's what made everyone angry. But do we really know why he felt he had to leave? Doesn't it make sense that he would have felt the coaches would not have been receptive, and in fact, probably the opposite, that they wanted to make the room a little hotter for the O linemen because they were underperforming?

We just don't know. But I don't know why phinking is getting so many thumbs down, when it makes as much sense as anything else I've read.

I think I am getting thumbs down because some of these fans are way too young to remember when the Dolphins always had a playoff spot reserved for them every year. When Marino Duper, Clayton took the field on a hot Sunday afternoon and you knew the scoreboard would be lit up. For most of these fans, Dolphin excitement is watching Jay Fiedler. I really fail to understand what the fascination is with this current regime. It seems these fans are just loyal because they may have gotten autographs from Philbin and Ireland or something. Defending this kind of mediocrity makes no sense to me.

Assualting RI would have probably taken care of the situation.

Dwight Stephenson probably would've bullied Martin too. Our players in those days weren't tissue paper soft.
Do you think Martin could've taken one of Marino's death stares and not started crying?

Look. Is Martin a tad thin-skinned? Yes. But you can't compare this locker room to the kind of locker rooms Don Shula ran. Nobody on Shula's staff would have told Dwight Stephenson to toughen up Jon Giesler or Eric Laakso. John Sandusky and Monty Clarke knew how to get the best out of EVERY Offensive Lineman on that team. And they did that by simply teaching them proper blocking techniques. They didn't have to assign other players to harass or intimidate them.
