Camp report day 3 night practice.

Thanks for the great report. Too bad about Wright I hope he can cut it and Saban doesn't bury him by making an example of him. Glad to hear about Boston but this Seth thing is really buggin me! He got handed his butt all last year.

I was thinking the same thing regarding Wright. If it was Bill Parcells Wright would be the red headed step child of Dolphin preseason. From Saban's comment earlier today I think he'll give Wright another chance to prove his toughness

And he has a nasty streak in him.

Oddly, that was about the only knock on him from the pre-draft profiles. They said he wasn't aggressive enough. Maybe he's learning to develop it on the field. Again, reading those draft profiles it read like he was a guy that was a developmental type with a LOT of upside. Glad we got Houck to bring this kid up the right way.

i think this year we'll have the offense we expected to rise under wanny, really rising, plus ronnie...oline under houck,boston,chambers,booker..ricky back..I know it's early to tell, but all this is starting to look solid

Question I was watching Saban's after practice interview and he was talking about someone who had a highly sprained ankle, I listened to it three times but couldn't distinguish the name does anybody no who torked their ankle? Thanks.

Jack Hunt, a backup safety.

I'm very surprised about Alabi. I saw a picture of the guy at one of the mini camps and he looked like a TE. Very nice to see him doing a good job out there, though I still think it will take some time with him.

I do have one question. Although I, as well as most fans, place little emphasis on preseason results, it was clear watching us last year in preseason and in camp that we had huge offensive problems. I know it's early, but in the few 11 vs 11's that have occured has the offense had any flow, or at least been able to move the ball?

I spoke to Ricky and Zach tonight, and I basically told them the samething I told Nick the other night..Which is, all we needed was a coach. Ricky was signing authographs, and I kept saying to him thank you, thank you, thank you so much for getting rid of Bumstedt. I told him he was the smart one and the idiots who don't understand him are the dumb ones. He got a chuckled out of that.

I gave Zach dap, and told him he's a first ballot hall of fame. I also, told him he was my favorite player, and that no one recognizes a play and blows it up like he do. I told him it would not be fair if he was 6'3..He started laughing.. I proceed to explain to him how in the past we only ran one Defense, and now offenses are not going to know what's coming. He told me I really know my **** and that I should be a coach. He signed my roster book..and shook my hand and told me we're agoing to be way better than we were last year..I'm so jack right now..How cool is that..One day it's Nick the next it's Ricky and Zach..Boy I'm glad I live in South Florida.

I can't wait for the season to get here. So, far I've seen drills in these last three days, I have never seen over the last 9 years..The difference is incredible..I like that kid Vickerson alot..He's alot bigger than I thought. He holds up at the point of attack, and pressures the QB..He was all over the place tonight. I thought both Qb's Palyed well..When Ricky comes back in Oct..He's going rip the league apart..and remember it would of been a problem if Ricky came back overweight. But he didn't. He's body is well rested and you can see it..Oh my god, I feel so sorry for the rest of the league..We are loaded at RB and WR..O-line is looking much better than this time last year..

If any one have any questions let me know...

Where do I begin. I have a great report for you guys tonight.

-On the o-line. Stockar has been replaced in the 1st team at RT by McIntosh. I can't understand why. Stockar has looked solid and McIntosh has struggled. Maybe it was a one night thing to see how Stockar responds tomorrow, they may just be testing him and attempting to light a fire under his ***. We'll see tomorrow. RG Hadnot was pretty good, not as good as he's been though. One thing I loved was when they were doing one on ones DT #95 Josh Shaw got the better of Hadnot two straight times and after the 2nd play Houck pulled Hadnot over and spoke to him and then had him go up against Shaw a 3rd time, and this time not only did Hadnot get the better of Shaw, he freaken buried his *** into the ground. At LT Carey got beat bad by JT on one play but for the most part tonight held his own once again. McKinney stunk up the joint again. I've decided that he just sucks. Vickerson busted him up real bad one time, more on that later. Since McIntosh became 1st team RT, Alibi was promoted to 2nd team LT and boy did he play his *** off tonight. He did damn well and effectively dominated Roth every time they locked up. He and Roth got into a fight too.

-On the d-line Carter and JT were very good out there. Carter seems to take it easy in practice but when he turns it up a notch you notice. They went to full 11 v 11's and Carter had a nice INT off a tipped pass that he ran back. Fast guy for 290. Kevin Vickerson made some impact tonight and caught my eye. He blew up a couple plays. Listen to this, after practice I went to get Kevin's auto and I said "How's Manny's back doing?" He reponded "Oh, he's a cry baby." LOL!

-CB's: For most of the night Daniels and Madison were 1st team then during the final 11 v 11's Reggie Howard took Daniels spot. I asked Daniels after practice while he was signing why Howard was in his spot out there and he told me to ask Saban.

-At WR Boston made a nice long catch and Newson dropped an easy one in the endzone. Boston, Chambers, and Booker is a hell of a trio.

-At QB I would maybe give the slight edge to Feely, neither one stood out and distinguished himself as the #1 guy.

-Ricky looks good. I'm telling you, he hasn't missed a beat. It's like he was never gone. He's fast, powerful, strong. Minor also had a couple nice runs.

-This was the best practice so far, lots of action, full 11 v 11's. We'll find out tomorrow if those 1st team changes stick.
great report man the more i hear about seth the more i hope somebody else starts.this guy hasn't showed me anything and we need to go another direction i would like to see w.smith there myself.

Good stuff Crazy, how is the secondary doing? It seems we completing a lot of passes against them, is it them or are our WR's that good.
