Camp report day 3 night practice.

Oh yeah I just remembered after seeing his picture in the thread with this mournings pic's, Wes Welker had some stone hands out there tonight. He dropped one or two real easy ones.

I think the D is just trying so much different things. Both right now I would have to say it's balance. And to answer your question, are Wr's are just that good..But on the other hand, if the D makes a nice play, than the O comes back and make a nice play. It's been pretty even so far. It's so exciting watching the defense shift into so many different formations. So, many different looks. Alot of cover one. Alot of blitzing and everything seems to align perfectly. I remember how Norv ran his ofeense with some kind of rhyme and reason. I see the samething with Nick's Defense. There's a reason why they do what they do, when they do it..Does that make sense?? Zach sounded like he was pump about playing for Saban. I will try to talk to atleast two players and give feedback at everynight practices..So just stay tuned..It's only going to get better. So, I've been giving Finheaven alot of pub. Hopefully, one of them will check us out soon...

Madison and Daniels are rarely, if ever, beat. It's the other DB's Mario Edwards in particular that are being toasted, Roundtree too, but he did some good things this mourning.

edit: Actually now that I think more about it, there was this one play tonight where it looked like Madison was at fault for giving up a completion while playing deep in zone, but like I said for the most part he and Daniels have been solid.

Thanks, that's awesome, I can't remember the O keeping up with the D this soon in camp before..usually the D kicks their butt for the 1st two weeks, then we start seeing some progress on O...this is good.

I was hoping roundtree might show something this training camp, he was pretty good last year..thanks..
 
That's a great report and a lot of encouraging news- but like most of you I'm really irked by McKinney's performance. VERY irked.

Sounds like Chambers is toasting Edwards again, eh?
 
The QB situation is starting to scare me more than ever :(

yeah i have video of camp, from monday I will post it I just got my new motherboard so should be able to get my pc back up and running so that i can share the video. Can't do it from work
 
Thanks for the info.............. Can Saban and the crew pick'em or what. If Alabi and Vickerson keep showing up like they did last night come roster trimming time Mr. Saban and company will have some very very tough decisions to make. I guess all the talk about Alabi being soft have gotten under his skin a bit. He's not taking crap from anybody :fire:.
By the way, I thought I read some where that he is a BlackBelt in the Martial Arts................So the neck grab thing with JT was probably just a force of habit.

I gave Zach dap, and told him he's a first ballot hall of fame. I also, told him he was my favorite player, and that no one recognizes a play and blows it up like he do. I told him it would not be fair if he was 6'3..He started laughing.. I proceed to explain to him how in the past we only ran one Defense, and now offenses are not going to know what's coming. He told me I really know my **** and that I should be a coach. He signed my roster book..and shook my hand and told me we're agoing to be way better than we were last year..I'm so jack right now..How cool is that..One day it's Nick the next it's Ricky and Zach..Boy I'm glad I live in South Florida.

I can't wait for the season to get here. So, far I've seen drills in these last three days, I have never seen over the last 9 years..The difference is incredible..I like that kid Vickerson alot..He's alot bigger than I thought. He holds up at the point of attack, and pressures the QB..He was all over the place tonight. I thought both Qb's Palyed well..When Ricky comes back in Oct..He's going rip the league apart..and remember it would of been a problem if Ricky came back overweight. But he didn't. He's body is well rested and you can see it..Oh my god, I feel so sorry for the rest of the league..We are loaded at RB and WR..O-line is looking much better than this time last year..

I pray that Zach is right and we are 5-6 games better than last year. Just reading his thoughts has me amped :lifter: as well.
