Camps Biggest Letdown?? (so far)

Wow this is tough.

I am not disappointed in Ferotte, I think he is doing what Gus does. I just think many here underestimated Feeley, who clearly has superior atheltic talent. So I am not really surprised that AJ is playing better.

I would have to go with Roth. I expected him to be all over the field and making plays. I really have not heard anything out of him. With that said, it is still early and I am waiting to see if he and Crowder get their game on later this summer.

So what your saying is he kind of reminds you of losman??? thats exactly what i was thinking..
He's got alot of potential, but he's got a ways to go. Alot of learning and adjusting to the pro game. How many QB's make a huge impact there rookie year? (Not Jp).Well at least were on the same page..:shakeno:

You can't let the JP pictures in signatures, and the prayers for him to turn the Bills around forget that he's still a (true) rookie with alot to learn about technique, and how to succeed in the pros. Right??Ohhhh..Nice opinion on our team now try and stay focused on yours and your weeknesses.

Anyway I think the biggest let down so far has to be Ronnie NOT being in there to compete.
Aww come on he wasn't talking trash, he gave the same opinion alot of us Fin fans would have given. Cut Losman7 some slack, he's taking part in a decent thread, the right way.

Ronnie not being there is easily the biggest disappointment for me. I have alot of high hopes for Roth but I realized from the start he would have to come in and learn alot and adjust to a higher level of football. I have sided with Ronnie up until now, but, it's been a week now and some of the other 1st rounders are starting to sign. Caddie even signed @ 3am the night before the Bucs started camp and said this "I have never shown up late to the first practice of the season, and I wasn't going to start now." That's what you like to hear out of your rookie's. Like I said, it's been a week, they've had some time to talk and now they need to get this thing done and get him into camp. BOTH sides.

Who is your biggest letdown for the camp so far, and why??

Personally I think mine would have to be Roth, while in the reports I read he is doing fairly well, from what people made him out to be earlier, I'm not sure he has lived up to his hype. There is still time for him though so I'm not too down on him.

Lee I had no confidence in after last year, so he is no letdown. Same with Taylor Whitney no confidence in after last year. But these 2 have by far been the worse.

McKinney sucks ***. My biggest letdown is that Ronnie hasnt gotten his *** into camp!!!! :yell:

Uncalled for. Losman7 just gave a very accurate assesment of the truth. I expect Roth to be a good player for us someday. Look, the veterans are having a hard time learning the system and I knew that was going to be the case. Defensive playbook in the last 10 years has consisted of maybe 3 pages. Now these guys are having to learn 30-40 pages of different blitzes and coverage schemes. No wonder he seems lost. He's thinking too much. Once he finds his place in the scheme, I think he can contribute. Maybe later in the year or next.

Roth? I don't get that one......how could you be letdown already?

The reason Roth is letting you down is because you believed all the BS hype he got on this board.

He's got alot of potential, but he's got a ways to go. Alot of learning and adjusting to the pro game.

How many DE's make a huge impact there rookie year? Not JT.

You can't let the 25 Matt Roth pictures in signature, and threats of him ripping qb's heads off let you forget that he's still a rookie with alot to learn about technique, and how to succeed in the pros.

Who in the blank are you to say how long it will take Roth to impact this team?

You don't know squat dude.

We can all sit here and spit out the psycobabble you do about how rookies need time to develop and blah blah blah.....................

The truth is no one has a crystal ball and the first week of camp doesn't mean a thing.

He could just as easily be a big impact player this year as next year, or he could be a bust, we'll find out when the games start, but nobody knows right now, and if someone does.......................it isn't you.

Losman7 comes on here to piss on everybodys parade, as if we don't know rookies need time to develop.

Like most fans we get excited about new acquisitions and their potential and we don't need some Bills troll coming on here to try to bring us down.

I'd have to agree on Ronnie not being signed as being the biggest "disappointment" so far. I don't really blow any of these guys up in my mind beforehand so none of them have disappointed me with regard to performance.

I don't need you telling me what I should read, Bills fans need to keep their negativity on their own board.

I don't mind true open minded discussions, but everything that comes from Losman7 includes cheap shots hes taking at Dolphin players.

No one can say with 100% assurity that a rookie can't impact a team, so you are also wrong when you say he's right on the money.
