Can Chad Henne really lead us to the playoffs?

too early to tell man, but have i seen huge improvent from chad henne this year? Without a doubt.

No. He's the worst starting QB in the league. (Tongue in cheek). No way going into just his third year can he get better. Look at Matt Ryan, look at Joe Flacco, look at Mark Sanchez, Josh freeman, they are already great. Henne sucks.

Hell no. And why there are people who are deluding themselves to think otherwise, I don't know.

Guys Mark Sanchez is not great. Picture mark sanchez in hennings offense last year. im 100 % sure he wouldve done way worst than henne. He has a good team around him and the coaches pick plays that help him out. We didnt have that with henne last year. Sanchez this year will blow..again

And to answer the threads question, if he plays like he did with carolina consistently yea. If he scrubs out again no. idk if you can control or change the fact of him being a choke artist.

I firmly believe that Daboll is gonna do everything in henne's favor. Honestly im not a henne fan whats so ever but i think this year henne is gonna put up better numbers than any other year hes been in the league. The offense has definitely opened up and with the addition of bush and marshall and henne on the same page for the most part is gonna surprise some people. I dont think hes the savior for this franchise but dont be surprised if he actually performs better overall and the dolphins feel no need to again not draft a QB next year..

I don't believe Chad Henne is leading us to the playoffs. I believe the playmakers we have on both sides of the ball are the highlight of this season's 2011 Miami Dolphins run deep into the playoffs. Everybody is focused on quarterback. With good reason. However this defense is a strong contender to be the best this year.

I think so. Depends if he connects with the deep ball this season. I think he will get better at it and it will really open our offense up. Obviously with Bush we have a better chance to score faster and create more mismatches. If the Dolphins D can hang onto those INTs they get themselves in position for... I think we are a darkhorse team.

If we stay aggressive, like what we've seen and heard from the offense, coaches, and henne, we have a shot.

Henne's common denominator is the one bad throw after he gets going. Think how many games Henne lost last year while he was actually having a solid 1st half (NYJ, NE (early season games), Cle, Buf, etc... he usually is pretty efficient and effective when he makes the bad throw. It's almost like he gets too comfortable and then makes that bad throw. Then after that 1st pick, he tries to do too much and forces a bad throw, usually leading to his 2nd pick (NE).

I coach football and can tell you, the hardest thing to coach is decision making and instincts... time and reps are usually the best way to overcome them... and learning from your mistakes.

This is it for Henning, it's usually around this time whether or not you can determine QBs get over the hump. The jury is still out... Henne is close to becoming a solid, above average QB. Let's see what happens this year. I for one am optimistic.

Peace.

A lot of people forgot the injury he suffered to his knee last year and probably came back too early. When he came back, there was no zip at all on his throws. Maybe his mechanic was affected but I'm certainly no doctor! He looks more and more like the promising qb we saw when he stepped up for Chad Pennington. I certainly believe he can lead us.
