Can Ricky surpass 1,000 yds this year?

It sounds like Saban's offense is going to be more open than the Wanny ball we have had over the years....I see us throwing it a lot more and when we do run it I think Ronnie will get most of the carries,,,,I think Ricky can get at least 50 yards a game if he gets 10-12 carries a game.....and Ronnie should get about 20 carries for hopefully 80-100 yards or so. I would be happy with 500 yards and 7 TDs from Ricky. Only time will tell.

i've always thought that if the chiefs and dolphins combined teams, they'd be the best team ever....
this year we got surtain and knight... next year how about jt? and bua maybe?

anyway... to get back on topic... lol, i don' think ricky will get 1k yards... but he and ronnie together may get 2k. they'll be splitting time, maybe even both in the backfield at the same time (like LJ/priest in kc)... how's your line looking? it's not like ricky let a bad line slow him down in the past, though...

well put it this way he is suspended for 4 games , so he is left with 12 games i can say he can get 900 to 1000 yards easily

Anything is possible, but it is EXTREMELY unlikely. As long as Ronnie stays healthy I don't see Ricky breaking the 750yd mark. Averaging over 83yds a game while sharing time with another RB and playing behind an at best average offensive line? Like I said, anything is possible....but don't bet any money on it.

Maybe. I think it's funny that everyone is questioning Ricky's abilities when he has proven he is a superior talent. But those same people are anointing Brown a 1000 yard back and he has yet to touch the ball. I think Ricky goes for a solid 800 yards and by season's end he is our feture back. I think Brown is good and goes for 500 rushing and 500 catching the ball.
If Ricky wants to be here, I don't think Brown or anyone can keep him off the field. He just has that rare talent. You are already hearing about it left and right from training camp.

he would have to do it in 12 games not 16, but it would have been still possible. Also combine the fact Ronnie Brown will be getting some carries and Ricky can only hope to muster 750 or so (IMHO)
