Can The Dolphins Contend With The Pats & Peyton This Year?

Stop dreaming. There are no signs that indicate we are improving or will be better this season.

Well injuries dictate a lot thru the season. If Manning gets hit the right way or should I say the wrong way bye bye Papa john boy. Brady is a different story but he could still go down or any other player of those teams. That could change lot. The same goes for Miami as well but I Could care less about other teams injuries. ****em that's how I see it.

The Dolphins are absolutely working on creating a team that can win the Superbowl now.

If anybody actually believes this please contact Mr. Wile E. Coyote at Acme Corporation. They have some prime real estate 40 miles west of Krome Avenue that they are trying to sell.

Philbin and Hickey aren't idiots. If they don't make the playoffs neither of them will be here in 2015. They are building a team that will get them a Wild Card spot.

The point isn't to want opposing QBs getting injured in order to have a chance. That's already a losers mentality.

Consistently? Nope. Maybe next year, but I'm hopeful for 2016.

I don't believe the Dolphins are ready to compete for a Superbowl just yet but they can be a playoff team. As for the other two teams mentioned. There have been teams that have tried to buy their way into a Superbowl championship in the past and have failed. I see similar fates happening to the two teams in the AFC trying to do that this year.

As long as you have a train wreck like Philbin at the helm how do you even ask such a useless question, Dolphins had a chance to start anew but let this loser back, who really gives a **** they wont contend, Philbin was never coach material, he didn't even call plays in GB he is not a motivator just a sad excuse for a dolphins coach, its a joke to even pretend we will do better he just doesn't have it and that rubs off on the team

IMO with the talent that was in FA. we need the OL to protect Tannehill so he has time to throw , and a good enough OL to open up holes so we are not one sided , and on Defence we need to be able to rush the passer and lock down the WRs with our CBs long enough to get to the QB , if we can do that we will be able to play with anyone , there was some pretty good talent on Offence and Defence BOTH , and we still have money , if we can upgrade with what is still out there , we should do it , IMO i think before were done in FA and the draft , we should be able to play with anyone this coming year , i just dont think Hickey and Philbin are done making moves , Not Just Yet ....

The Pats are loading up with Revis, Browner, and I hear they are after Brit. Denver is doing the same with Ware, etc. They seem to be thinking that they will be butting heads to go to the Super Bowl, and with good reason.

We all know that ya never know how the ball will bounce in the NFL, with injuries and player's play. My question is IF you honestly believe we can compete with, and beat these two teams?

I remember reading years ago that Pat Riley, who has won a ton of titles in the NBA, said that he was building his team for when Michael Jordan retired. That always seemed strange for a guy like him but, realistic.

Are we in the same position f targeting a year or two down the road, while looking for the playoffs but, not the title?

Miami outplayed playoff teams in the second half last year until for some reason we will never find out why they gave up the last two games but it all comes down to Tannehill and if can overcome the pressure or we find out why the GM was let go.

I believe the Dolphins have enough talent to beat any team in the league. We have beat playoff teams and are rarely embarrassed in games. The Dolphins are better than their 2013 8-8 record. We had a ****ing terrible OLine, worst in the NFL. I refuse to believe that with even a mediocre OLine our record is not better.

Do I think we will contend for a SB in 2014? No.. but I fully expect us to continue to improve, which means 9-7 or better and a play off berth. Whether that's divison or wild card doesn't matter to me.

What this really boils down to is Ryan Tannehill. Is he going to continue to elevate and become a great QB in this league? If the answer to that question is yes then we are definitely building a contender. I believe he's on his way, I think he's got it all.
