Can The Florida Panthers Ownership Please...

Winning a Stanley Cup is hard, winning two in a row is quite something. Panthers are a complete team if there ever was one.

Here in Canada, the Leafs are going on 58 years without winning the cup, funny thing is this year's team had all the makings of a Stanley Cup winner, but they had to play the Panthers, bad luck for them. That Atlantic Division is really competitive, congrats to the Panthers - well deserved

Toronto was an OT goal away from a 3-0 lead on the Panthers
If Toronto won that series they probably would have won the cup this year

Went to the game last night, my son’s first live championship experience!

Now time to get the offseason work done. Lots of work ahead for Zito with Playoff Benny, Marchand, and Ekblad set to be FAs. I don’t think Bennett makes it to FA but he’s going to cost a lot. I don’t care. He’s a must re-sign.

Yeah that series was scary being down 2-0 at home trailing 3-1 in the second period. I think they’d have handled Carolina too. Interesting to see if Carolina lands Marner how different both of those teams look in 25-26.

I don’t see Edmonton winning a cup with this group unless they get really lucky. Far too dependent on two players. Everyone is quick to blame Skinner and he’s had many “wtf moments” especially that third goal last night off Reino’s skate. But their defense and forwards for that matter consistently put him in awful situations. They do need a goalie upgrade, but they also need to upgrade their forward depth and their defense needs a complete overhaul. If you’re going to stick with an offensive minded defenseman like Bouchard then he needs to be paired with a big upgrade defensively. I actually think they should part with Bouchard to open up some cap space to improve elsewhere.

Also can’t have McDavid no showing in Game 7 last year and Games 5 and 6 this year. To be fair he was clearly out of gas. I also do not think McDavid and Drai can play together unless it’s a PP or 4v4.

If McDavid says no to extension talks this off-season, I think he's going to Toronto after next season.
Edmonton isn't good enough to beat Florida, the series going 7 last year was a fluke and the series this year probably should have gone 5 at most.
Toronto, besides injuries, is the biggest threat to Florida 3-peating next season.

I wish I had money to buy fins. I'd hire people to sniff out Ross whereabouts in Diddys freak off parties and black mail Ross into signing the Dolphins over to me. Which I will then Run as Owner and GM and approach things in a manner that is logical and can be explained to media and fans in how I run the organization...

I can live with someone as and owner and GM who admits mistakes and strikeouts when following the most logical signings....
