Third and one. Fake handoff, roll out Wilson with pass options short and deep. EASY toss to a WIDE OPEN TE. I want to cry when I see professional play calling.

At least you still enjoy good football. I sometimes wonder if some posters only watch the dolphins.
Seattle looks great.

You can say they got lucky with Wilson, but they did research and select him so they get credit for the pick.

Our 3rd and a yard typically involve an empty back with a 4/5 WR set....."No guys. We really plan on running it"

It is easy to do that type of play when you are a threat to run it successfully on short yardage.
We arent that threat.

how are we not, tanne was a wr before. hes got the skills to run

He will get hired by someone after tonight

and don't say that. I said this in a post a couple weeks ago and got drilled for it. oh, and russell Wilson hits open receivers and receivers in stride ALL DAY LONG

Darrell Bevell will be a Head Coach next year somewhere. He was Favre's fave OC and he seems like a confident guy. He obviously knows how to operate dynamic offenses. He would be at the top of the list if we were looking for an HC at the end of the year. Unfortunately, I don't think that happens no matter what...

BTW, Seattle will be in the Super Bowl this year. I don't see anyone going into that stadium and beating this team.

Seattle has much better personnel than we have but their play/formation design just makes Sherman's offense look like pop Warner. They actually design around their talent instead of making players run their offense. Reminds me of Shula.

Shermin is all about trying to be deceptive. It doesn't work.

Like the one to the WR where it was short and to the left causing the WR to bend his route to make a difficult over the shoulder catch? He gets caught from behind because of it. Would have been a TD if it were a well thrown ball. Damn he sucks.

Or the one that was short early on and the Saints defender picked off only to have it pop outta his hands when he hit the ground? Maybe that's what he meant.

Now, he has hit two great deep passes in stride. But it hasn't been all day long. It's 50/50.
