What if the Phins go 0-5 in the preseason, but come out and win the season opener? :D Isn’t that the game that we would really like to see the Dolphins win? As long as the Phins are using these losses to qualify the right guy (or at least the best one we have) for the job then who cares if we even win one preseason game.

This in no way means that I would not love to see the Phins slaughter the Bucs, and the Falcons.

Would love for miami to win the season opener, honestly i think they will. And I really dont care if we lose all preseason games as long as saban is switchin up the qbs, oline, and dline to make the best combos to win.

I agree.

But just for the sake of my sanity, I hope they win out the rest of the season or I'm going to have to choke some of these doom and gloom types.

Yes it does, but it can be used for Fertilizer and makes your garden look beautiful... there's always two sides to everything, look at the brighter side, it'll make life better.

Madison said in an interview we havent even seen Sabans defense so thats a good sign also we will go in with a gameplan so that is also a plus:up:

What's so special about the Broncos? They have a retooled D-line (with Cleveland Browns players) an erratic QB (Plummer) who hasn't done anything special in this league to warrant all the pub that he gets.
They will be playing in early Sept. at 1pm in Dolphin stadium. They are used to the high altitude, but unless you are used to playing in the heat and humidity you will wilt midway through the 3rd quarter. They will see a lot of RB and RW in the 4th quarter. Can that D-line hold up? I don't think so.
I also think our defense will confuse Plummer into making a few mistakes. For some reason I feel it will be a 10 point win for the phins.

They will see RW on the sidelines serving his four game suspension, perhaps that is what you were referring to.

I just don't think it is possible. Remember, the Bronco's have Maurice Clarett now. Also, all the d-line has all those ex-Browns who played on so many good Browns teams.

Yep, yep, yep. But perhaps the preconception of RW being on the sidelines(which he will not due to his suspension, he can't even sniff the team during that time) will be enough to shake fear into Denvers defense. ;)

Momentary lapse. However, the rest of my post remains unchanged. A better question would be, what do the Broncos have to do to win this game?
It is a tall order winning on the road here in early Sept. I also expect the vets on the team to be fired up for the opener as they try to put the bitter memories of last season behind them.
I recall in the early 90's the big, bad Buffalo Bills getting spanked in the opener by an average Dolphin team. I think it was a 31-0 shutout or 31-10.
Bruce Smith and co. had nothing left in the 4th quarter.
