:fire: Former Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt, in Monday's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, wondered whether Williams would be willing to accept a backup role.

''I don't know about that one,'' he said. ``Ricky likes being the star and wanted the ball. He has a long way to go from walking into training camp to lining up and scoring touchdowns.''

Added Wannstedt: ``I really couldn't care less about what happens down there.''

After turning this organization into garbage, this is what he has to say :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
isn't he gonna have his hands full destroying the panthers?
 
I don't blame the guy really, I'd probably feel the same way if I was in his situation. I wish him the best in Pitt. Unfortunately we wasn't good enough to be a Head Coach in the NFL, and we had to suffer because of this.

I dont blame him either.. Seriously... Despite his lack of NFL coaching abilities, he took alot of negatives from the media and fans when he was here. What is the guy going to say?

Deserving of such criticism.. maybe, maybe not... but at the very least I would be bitter if I were put in that situation.

With that being said, he's a good fit in the college ranks. We'll see how he does.

hahaha I can't wait til he bring the Panthers here into Morgantown. It'll be like killing two birds with one stone, beating Pitt and watching ole Davey boy lose like he managed to do so well here.

First off, Why shouldn't we hate him? we had the worst year in Dolphins History under him.

Secondly, why shouldn't he hate us? Wayne Fired his *** mid-season.

Third, Why should he give a damn about us? Hes up in Fittsburgh ruining another team.
 
I pity no one who is so incompetent that they refuse to change strategy. He's a moron. No matter the score, no matter the team, run, run, run, punt. He had a perfect model of a coach adapting in his own division and learned squat. In one season, we had the top back and the top sack leader, and missed the playoffs. Who else deserves the blame, but Dave.? He stuck with Fiedler, because he knew we'd never throw deep. The man is mindless zealot and desrves all the criticism he gets.

Well that run run run punt thing started with JJ. In fact he actually SAID that once.
