After turning this organization into garbage, this is what he has to say

Wanny's Pitt kitties go up against Notre Dame, which is coached by the former Patsies guy (forgotten his name already, but I always call him Fatty  )....gonna be a long year Wanny.

I've been through this already here in Chicago with Wanny, and cried when he went to Miami. I literally cried after blasting him for years as Bears coach only to find out he was headed to miami. These 2 chapters are now behind me and I'm ready for the Saban-era.

First off, Why shouldn't we hate him? we had the worst year in Dolphins History under him.

Secondly, why shouldn't he hate us? Wayne Fired his *** mid-season.

Third, Why should he give a damn about us? Hes up in Fittsburgh ruining another team.

That was my point, without going into detail. ;)

I don't see why anyone is concerned with what Wannstedt has to say about the Dolphins. Who cares, he's not our coach. Of course he's gonna sound bitter if you ask him what he thinks about us, he got fired.

I think I may be the only one who wishes him well with his new coaching job. His approach to the game seems a lot more suitable for the college game.

Well that run run run punt thing started with JJ. In fact he actually SAID that once.

True. But he coached in a time that wasn't far removed from when that was the way the game was played. Not mention, he realized he couldn't coach anymore and left. Wanny just kept the decline alive because, again, he was too stubborn to admit he was wrong.

Heh, true. I felt like strangling JJ when I heard him say that. Especially for what he did to Marino.

I know, but time did more to Marino than Jimmy did. You know, for all of Jimmy's faults he gave us one helluva foundation on defense. Of course, the nipple-head with a porn mustache never capitalized on it.

Thanks Ricky, because of you we lost a softee coach who never gave three sh!ts what happened down here. I'll take one losing season over five with Wanny at the helm.

You know what the funny thing is? Dave acts like he was a winner here! It's unreal that he thinks he was a success because we "averaged" 10 wins a year in his first four years.

Uh....Dave?....YOU IDIOT, We averaged that BEFORE you got here too, and you ran us into the ground after you took the helm! I hesitate to think how much worse it would have gotten if he stays on for 2005, '06, etc.

Praise the Lord that it's OVER!

why are some of you surprised....the guy took more crap from fans and media then you could imagine. While he's a horrible NFL coach, he was hounded when he tried to go out in public. People weren't too civil to him.

I don't blame him at all for taking a little shot (if thats what you want to call it) at the dolphins. He left the team in ruins so he deserves a lot of criticism, but he can dish it too after being verbally assaulted for years.

I never liked dave, but he did act with some class. He assumed all the blame (like he should!) never called anyone out. Players respected him.... alot. He may never have been a good head coach. But for a guy who has fallen from grace.. he did it with more respect than lets say.. Jim Mora.
Dave you sucked... I dont care what you do up there!.. But at least you're a decent guy.

:fire: Former Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt, in Monday's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, wondered whether Williams would be willing to accept a backup role.

''I don't know about that one,'' he said. ``Ricky likes being the star and wanted the ball. He has a long way to go from walking into training camp to lining up and scoring touchdowns.''

Added Wannstedt: ``I really couldn't care less about what happens down there.''

Get over it brother!

I am gonna miss seeing our Coach rubbing his pornstache on the sidelines with that confused look on his face.....NOT!!!!
