Can't wait for Spielman to get fired already..........

He's basically just a scout now. It wouldn't make much of a difference if they fired him. Rick Spielman is not the reason we lost so many games in 2004. His success or failure has yet to be realized.

St Nick.. i see you havent been here too long acording to your number of posts....so listen: First of all, we are all here to have fun because we are all Phinsfans.
Secondly, You need to respect everybody's opinion if you want yours respected. No need to come in here and insult people just because you dont agree with their point of views.
This is probably the best site to get Phins info and have a good time with other phins fans... so enjoy it!! in a civilized way.

I was going to say.........go ahead and read Post #4 and then tell me to act civil................but I see the Mods here took care of it.........fast. :saber:

So...............I apoligize and hope we didn't get off on the wrong foot. One thing is for sure...........we all LOVE the Dolphins and just want them to succeed. Very frustrating season..........But some of you here need to respect a different opinion as well. I'll let this Horse die and lets see what April brings..........:hi5:

I actually read through this whole thread... and a lot of people brought up plenty of good points.

1) Firing Rick at this point wouldn't make much sense. he's a great eye for talent, just not a great salesmen.

2) Rick's decisions havent really effected us positivly or negativly yet. What I mean is we don't know if Carey, and Aj are busts... Just like we don't know if Pope and Bua are the next Zach Thomas'

3) Rick was trying to bring in players that would work in Wanns system

4) Rick's main focus is evaluating talent. which is his gift. If Saban feels Rick doesn't share his same vision, he'll ask Rick to walk

I just read this whole thread. St. Nick. I dont think you really know what the hell your talking about. i see you conveniently forgot about pope and poole in a draft that was not very good position wise. I also think he ended up on his feet when feeley showed us something. that was the deal that his job was hinging on.
Yeah and I even mentioned Pope, Poole and Bua way early in the thread and he only agreed with Bua. Obviously he has no clue what is going on.

Right or wrong RS is a link to the past.Didnt most of you think Bates,Tresman were worthy of keeping ? He was part of the problem. He is not part of the solution IMO.Its time to move on

So is that the way it is around here? I only agree with one of your honorable mentions so I have no clue? Next your gonna tell me that Eddie Moore wasn't a wasted Draft choice. Another Wasted 2ND ROUND draft choice. :redeye:

4 and 12. You all can say whatever you want about Pope, Poole, whoever........... 4 and 12. :shakeno: Glad you all think we have such a promising team and The Top Tier in the Dolphins organization this past year was doing such a fine job that it ran off a landmark like Dan Marino in 3 weeks.Don't blame it all on Wanny either. Thats a cop out and one of my biggest problems with RS is he won't even step up and accept any responsibility. I respect Dave W. for at least that much. Team Leaders like Sam Madision don't speak out against staff like he did against RS without good reason. Maybe Hunziga should have given him and Wanny another extension? 4 and 12.............I rest my case. :cpatch:

I was just agreeing with someone else who mentioned Pope and Poole. If you can't say those guys were good picks then you really have issues. Personally I could really give a $h!t what you think. You can rest your stupid case all day long. You have proven to all here your bulb is dim Rudolph

Intelligent reply. You guys can't even discuss a difference of opinion. Whos bulb is dim now?

4-12..........nuff said.

St. Nick is obviously not a Dolphin fan, so this should count as trash talking and be moved to the appropriate forum. In my opinion.

Oh...........now becuase I have a difference of opinion I'm not a Dolphins fan.

You guys should just listen to yourself.

4-12 season is something I'm not proud of. I want the 32nd draft Pick not the 2nd.

I thought this was a discussion page? Sounds more like a this is what I think page, like it or else.

''We don't have a two, we don't have a six, and a two is almost like a one this year -- the 35th pick in the draft,'' Saban said. ``So we've made some decisions here that, what is, is. And that's what we're going to deal with".

Nick Saban

In other words Nick is saying to the media...........What a dumbass move............

There are 16 rated QB's in the AFC. Feeley was last at #16. There are 35 rated QB's in the NFL and again Feeley was dead last with a total of 61.7. I'm guessing that your iusing the once you hit bottom there's no where to go but up philosophy to indicate progress for AJ ?

Again........I'm not enjoying these numbers.........just pointing out the obvious and trying to get you people to see the reality of the situation at hand.

I like that.............What is......is. :shakeno:
