Carl peterson VP fball ops, marino co vp, casserly GM, Brian Billick head coach

I'm a huge Marino fan. IMHO, he was the greatest QB in the history of the NFL. But, that has nothing to do with his ability as a GM. I'd surely want him in a role, and as a VP doing something sounds about right. But, I don't want Peterson, Marino or Billick picking our players. We need the GM and the Coach picked on ability ... not sentiment or past name recognition.

I always laughed at the notion you may bring in Carl Peterson as he did a poor job in KC for so many years but he can't be worse than what you have.

Thinking outside of the box....

VP of Football Operations - Andrew Friedman - GM and Executive VP of the Tampa Bay Rays - I know he is a baseball guy and I wouldn't have him evaluating talent, but the guy has manage to continually build a competitive team with one of the smallest budgets in the MLB. Before taking over as GM for the Rays he worked in finance and had no experience in baseball. He's a guy who is the master of deal and trades (always knowing when to part with a player and getting top value for them). His ability to mange funds would continue to keep the team in excellent cap shape.

General Manager - Omar Khan - Director of Football Operations - part of building one of the most successful franchises in the NFL over the past 10 years.

Head Coach - Jon Gruden - West coast guy who would give Tannehill the best chance to develop. Has been successful with two different franchises and provides a "fire" the current team lacks.

Only person that is gone is Jeff. Joe will still be around. Jeff's replacement is going to eb a BIG NAME..... Ross is a business man. He tried the unkown before with Joe and he is luke warm with the outsome of the product. NOW he is going to take the proven route. NOT SAYING that is the correct way to go. I dont know what the right way is anymore. But look for a BIG name to be the GM or Pres.

Just say no to Billick. He's an offensive genius that couldn't develop an offense or QB.

Why go through all the trouble of putting a whole new FO together, when we can just start routing for another team, instead!?
Anybody with me?

Just Kidding...I wish it were that easy, but most of us will be cursed fans for life!

This is not what i want i wouldnt mind this but this is just a sample of how to build a solid organization with structure and solid people leading it. Its not hard Ross. If u fire ireland u have to fire philbin too. Hire Peterson as VP of fball ops. Hire marino as co vp of fball operations. Let them find a coach. Let the coach bring in a GM. Or let the GM find a coach. Ideally i would like gruden or cowher to bring in their people i dont see ether of them touching this job. I think brian billick would jump all over this job he came out last year and said he would be interested. He works with charly casserly at nfln. It would all make sense. He is proven.

Billick?! Are you ****ing kidding me?

Any suggestions that include that nimrod Billick, is a huge fail. Sorry

I want no part of Carl Peterson being anywhere near this organization. He might be worse than Ireland. Why don't we just bring back Spielman?
