.............let's not get too big headed over this great victory this afternoon. If anything it was the sure-shot indication that last year is officially OVER WITH. So please guys, refrain from jumping on other forums and talking trash, just bask in our boys letting go of a tumultruous 2004 season and proving they can still play in this league.

Im basking.......and I am calling for JT to take Chad Penningtons head off.

Tru dat. It's just one game. Lot's of unimpressive plays that we need to work on - fumbles, dropped balls, false starts. Let's focus on the Jets.

i think some guys in here have the right to go to the broncos board if they want though. those guys were crawling this site soooo badly, and a bunch of them have yet to surface i've noticed.

I love it when ur Football team wins beacuse for Baseball u get 1 day to brag, in football u get 1 week, im going to enjoy this win!

Lets not forget the 3-0 run of our pals the Jills a couple years ago, a swarming D, a clicking on all cylinders O, and SB dreams in their eyes. And then #34 grinded those dreams into pulp on Sunday Night Football, leading to a playoff-less season.

Let's not be that team, lets put things in perspective, one week at a time. The Jets will be pissed and will be at home. We need to stay calm and focused on not putting one win out of perspective. Like Saban said, enjoy this for 24 hours, and then its back to work.

The Jets got spanked today by KC,they're going to be more then ready to go against us next Sunday. This was an awesome win for us though.

i am going to enjoy every win this year, i learned last year they dont come easy

After what happened today, we may see Fiedler!

You actually may very well be right. When I was watch the game Pennington had no velocity at all. I know Edwards has been saying all offseason that he would be fine, but as a casual observer of the Jets I have my doubts about his arm.

I just have one thing to say......What the hell is kevin mawae gonna do when he faces Keith Traylor and some blitzing LB and CB? Answere: not much.

The Jet game will be the true barometer of our team - and Gus, especially. If we can win against a hungry team on the road in very hostile conditions, then I'll start to think this is for real. The Jet game will tell us whether we should get excited about THIS season, or simply enjoy the ride until '06 and '07.
