cbs has a article on the fins

I would also like a link. I browsed all over CBS sportsline and didn't find a single article stating that.

and they had a paragraph that stated that nick is a heck of a coach but it will take us 3 years before we become a 500. team and they think our wr corp is the worst in the leauge . they must think that chambers is average at best, i dont undertstand why chambers gets no respect. they did give us a b in the draft but they think we should have drafted a wwr in the 2nd round and this is the only part i agree with.
with the randy situation like it is i am beginning to think we should have drafted te billy bajema in the 7th rd.

No.1 who cares?
No.2 who wrote the article? CBS as a whole didn't write the article, one man did and it's his opinion and his opinion alone as far as the article is concerned.

I think he made it up so that his comments over in the "Roscoe Crosby" thread would have some merit.

it was on cbs sports.com they had a segment on the rankings with a comment and other little segments but truthfuly i was reading between the line a little bit but they also made a comment on matt roth and they basically said we should'nt of drafted him when wew already had two guys and this where the wr corp came up but all the talk shows i have heard are basically predicting us to win 3 -5 games due to the qb and wr corp and why they said it was boston was un proven and chambers ,booker and thompson were like 60 yrs old speed wise. which was bull crap.

you know, ive heard that about chambers speed before from color guys on TV and i dont get it. hes a burner. he was never much a deep threat only because Feidler cant throw the ball more than 20-25 yds w/o it wobbling out of control. Feeley's got the arm, but not the protection. the only guy ive heard give chambers his due was Joe Theisman. i think he said he thought CC was an elite reciever.

after watching booker, he seemed to have decent speed for a big guy. he had some plays where he caught the ball, made a move and beat his man to the first down marker.

I am worried about our receiving depth.I dont think Boston will make it out of training camp without sustaining an injury. Then there is CC and Booker and a lot of unproven talent after them. One of those two goes down and we have a pretty thin core of WRs.

If two guys from any postion go down we will be pretty thin... ???

Our receiving corps is fine.
If anything it's a little doubt and inexperience about the open OLB slot and the QB and S positions.

I would argue that the phins have one of the top 5 WR corps in the league, assuming Boston is ready to play. In fact, if Boston is 100%, then my grade goes up to top 3.

"You ask, What is our policy? I will say; It is to wage war, by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us. . . . That is our policy. You ask, What is our aim? I can answer with one word: Victory--victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival."
--Winston Churchill, first speech as prime minister to the House of Commons

Guys if it is a sportsline article one of the most popular columnists on this board probably wrote it... Prisco is typically the NFL writer for sportsline. So take it with a grain of salt.

Besides, everyone is entitled to their opinion no matter how misinformed it may be.

I dont understand this. WE have many issues, dont get me wrong, but WRs are not one of them. CC put up near pro bowl numbers several years with absolute S* systems and sub par QB play. Booker has been a pro bowler already, as has Boston (I know he may have injury issues). Thompson has been a starter. So our top 2 WRs are PROVEN and injury free. WR #3 is a pro bowl player with a potential injury issue and #4 is a previous #2. They look good and deep excluding Gilmore (who is solid) Brown or Randy. :shakeno:
